Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.

Well, more often than not it does require muscle and/or powers to protect their cargo from being stolen or to retrieve an item for a client. Movers and Security see the most action, but sometimes the Drivers do and very rarely (unless some villain decides to attack the office) does the receptionist see action. With the service, they generally ask few questions, save where to/from, will we need extra security/movers on this job, and how will you pay by.
I generally have the resume thing on the IC as more of a formality (mainly for the receptionist), but if ya feel he'd be a good fit, then go ahead and post. :)

ADD: I assume the receptionist mentioned so far, Jessica at Brady's, is an employee of the gym, and not obviously an employee of Senet and Edfu. The approach won't change, either way, but K has done his homework beforehand. (Anything gainable by electronic investigation without actual hacking (saved for later need) and by rumor and "street smarts" contact work.)

Ian will take just about any job that pays. i have him styled as a bodyguard type... melee combat/ healer. he is a kinetic speedster that transfers energy buildup during a fight into his mutant healing abilities.
he isnt a traditional mercenary but would be somewhat known in those circles as a go to if you are expecting heavy casualties and need support that doesnt need a babysitter.... So pretty effective sitting shotty for a bruiser who is assigned to protect the cargo.
he also takes extended contracts... but follows them to a T. so the wording has to be exactly what you expect out of them.

Time for Kartanian to watch the situation and collect information. Typically, he would do that until an opportunity presents itself or action is forced upon him. (Usually, that tends to be when there is someone in danger who can't be saved any other way than by him blowing cover, jumping in front of a blast meant to kill Kheldian civilians, or doing something foolishly heroic, and so on.)
In a couple of days, the referral from Senet-Ra's brief contact with the delivery driver will make himself known. Kartanian has to prep the guy. I will continue to watch the thread for the right timing on that. I also plan to put in a "soliloquy post" at a reasonably appropriate break after things happen at the gym. Unless something else interesting prompts it sooner or later than that!

It may or may not become relevant, but the selected portions I will put there do a good job of showing who Kartanian is, I think. Kartanian, Kiwishta, Kewani, Kisya, and Stripes (and the other Curiosity Kilz characters to a lesser extent) have had long and eventful lives in several games.
At this point in PnC, I am watching for a good opportunity to jump in again after the action at Brady's is wrapped up.

:) Sorry I've been ignoring the RP, it's coming down to the wire on the semester and I've got a major paper due on the 2nd...that's not out of research phase yet. ^_^' So if you've been wondering what I've been doing that kept me from replying, it's that. Once my paper's done and submitted (it's an 8-12 page monster for an upper-level literature class), I should be able to be active on the RP once again.

Sorry about disappearing like that. School just started back up last week and I've been up to my eyeballs in homework, trying to apply for study abroad for over the summer (hopefully gonna be going to Japan), and the general crazyness of home life. If you do want to shorten my name, I'd prefer Siwy, as the en part of it is a connector (my screen name is my faith name which means "announce to Bast"). :) As far as P&C joining up on the Heist thread, I'd love to, but we'd both have to get through the current scene in P&C (unless we want to gloss over the fight for the heist thread), and understand that since school has started back, I won't be able to post as much as the flow of the thread may want.
Speaking of flow and homework coming first, while I'm tired outta my wits right now, I'll post on the IC thread (hopefully) over the weekend after my homework's done. Also, if ya'll feel like reading some interesting superhero stories, I've got my blog up with a few of my own pen. The addy is siwyenbast.wordpress.com and I'm currently working on Senet-Ra's origin story with a weekly posting schedule. I do have another character's post up as well as a general blog post too. Please forgive the occasional word omission and/or misspelling, I tend to write these late at night when it's quiet in the house.

Well story line shifted. For the grand plot to go forward the bad guys need to win the Museum Heist. So might not be good for P&C to get involved. I was thinking of ways to have more RP involvement. Now with our master plan going forward their be more opportunities for adventure for both Red and Blue side.

@Xselcier It's a bit of both, honestly. :P Edfu likes knowing he's got a capable teammate and someone who can keep an eye on Senet if he gets knocked out. He's like a protective older brother in the army in that way. He also likes to not have to hold back like he does while on jobs, b/c most of the people they encounter are normal theives/mooks, with very few supervillains so far. He doesn't want to kill those, as he knows from San Fran that's bad for business. Best to knock em out cold and finish the job before they wake up.
@Rotten We could have P&C happen along as a random blue team on their way back from a job while the Heist is going on. They do do some random hero work from time to time (talking about Senet-Ra and Edfu here).

@Siwyenbast There are three more items my Villain needs. One is a kidnapping so that leaves two items to collect. I don't see why P&C can't end up guarding one of them. How about we PM details and hammer out an idea.

With Edfu's silver sword's power, it doesn't activate until after it hits, usually at his command. It works like the old oxygenator power from the weather set, but in reverse. The gold one's much less subtle. When it's activated, it gains the ability to shock the enemy with electricity, and has a chance of stunning/paralyzing them for a minute. Just your friendly, neighborhood semi-tired infodump.

It's likely he's worked for P&C a few times in the 20 years he's been in Titan City. Even if he doesn't [I]need[/I] the work, he does need to stay busy, so his cell number (as Val Fordan) should be in their files. Only hitch right now is this package he has to pick up from the Parts Shop ^_^.

Problem there is that P&C hasn't existed but about 6 months in Titan City. Senet-Ra and Edfu hail from San Franscisco (well, that was their first city of origin, but Senet wasn't born there), where they worked as transporters for another group with a few others in their "moving truck". They went exclusive for one client, got the raw end of the deal, and while the others stayed with the company, Senet and Edfu decided to part company for ideological reasons. These two are originally from a BESM 3rd game I was in years ago that has since gone on indefinite hiatus. I'm using what little spare time and interest I have to get Senet's origin story built for my own universe.
Point is, Falcon may have met them either really early in their move to Titan City, or knew them from San Fran when they worked for Ultima transport. If the latter, we'll have to talk shop over PM on what he'd know specifically about them.

I don't know about Siwy, but I think it would just be simpler if anything that was meant to happen after the time jump be deleted for now.

I think i'll wait for Slwy to give thoughts before i delete them but just ignore them for the time being at least ((and hey i'm trying to work in a flashback to what's going on before the timeskip at least, not sure how that would go though, it's all a little messy. At least i should make it clear that the villains should be reading what's going on in the OOC thread so it doesn't get any worse))

From outside an individual in a gas-mask was siting outside in a black limousine, next to him was a suited lackey of his who was holding a tablet that showed the inner workings of the area this orb was being held. In fact this lackey seemed to have hacked into the cameras as his boss was watching carefully with him and a few other super villain associates. This man was a somewhat notorious crime lord by the name of Reuther Smith, a man with a wide assortment of gas related non-lethal weaponry, from gas grenades to a riot gun to even a few select needles with an unknown purpose, his lackey was a strange individual simply referred to as CP who seems to be able to talk to machines but not very talkative to people. Besides the two was at least one more super villain though i would let her introduce herself...

Ok, I'll admit that I've been avoiding posting here. I've been caught up with FF14 and playing various other games that I didn't really want to post here. I'm posting now to let ya'll know that I am going to Japan at the end of the week for 6 weeks to study the language. I'm using this as a way to kick off my intermediate level of Japanese because it's best to immerse in it to learn. While I will have internet while there, I'll be focused more on classes and exploring Tokyo than gaming. I just hope ya'll like the pictures I end up taking.

Well, while I did have fun (for the time that I wasn't sick with the flu), I've not checked up here in almost 2 years. Having a now ex-boyfriend will do that to you. I'm yet again buried in a paper that's due Monday for history class, but such is the nature of the beast when you're a college student. I did post on the IC thread, as I've been wanting to roleplay as Senet-Ra and Edfu again since I finished their origin story (go read it if you haven't, I love feedback!), so there's a necro P&C coming your way.
