Instruments in general would be a pretty good addition, though to really make them work they'd need to be paired with animations.
It'd be neat to shred out sonic waves from your electric guitar, less so for said waves to just happen when you're only holding the thing.

My thing with his blade is there wasn't really enough hilt space, it was like a one-handed double-sword.

That covers all hammers at my work except for Sledge, which I find already listed under "A for Obvious". Mallets, though, in themselves, run a gamut (at my work, at least) from a brass mallet with a head scarcely larger than my thumb (and a handle that is only five inches long) to a mallet with a rubber head larger than Wreck-it Ralph's fist. I go now to find samples. ^_^

First one is a Katar. Might be considered to be under Claws though?

Next one is...Bizarre and if it's never added I would completely understand. But if it were to be added I would go ballistic. Swinging People Into Other People. Would be great for giant heroes/villians that enjoy showing off how strong they are, by just swinging around mooks/civilians. Example below is more what it would look like than what it is. Just imagine there are invisible enemies in front of the Hulk :)

Eh, the only way I could see it working is if the "props" just appear to be swung around, only to be thrown away at the end of the attacks animation and vanish. Is it immersive? No. Is it clean? No. Does it make it possible? Yes.
Heck. You can even add special effects to the "props" spawning in. Like a dark miasma giving form to a shambling undead. Be a buff necromancer that swings his zombies around like clubs

That one's easy. It's just something that you can only do to DEFEATED $Targets ... and would be more of an emote than a combat relevant thing to do (because the $Target is already defeated). Just grab the (defeated) $Target by the ankle and ragdoll them through the whacky-smashy moves.

There's no real reason why you'd have to prevent something like this from being usable in PvP. If some idiot wants to stand there and try to run an emote in the middle of PvP combat allowing everyone else around him to jump on his dumb ass then I'd say more power to him. ;)

I think they had talked about making a customizable swords. Basically you could pick from a few hilts and a few blades and coloring each piece. I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to say they could do that for staffs too. Maybe not for launch or they may have canned that idea or be saving it for after launch.

That idea might even be easier for staves than for most other weapon types. Just have a generic straight pole part (that would animate the same no matter its appearance) and then offer cosmetic options to plug onto either end of the pole.
