Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Proof-Reader/Editor available!

I'm a 67 year old semi-retired technical documentation writer and proof-reader. If you need any assistance in the area of proof-reading, editing (grammar) and such, please let me know.

Thanks for offering this

Thanks for offering this service to CoT. I've never been one to demand 100% spelling/grammar perfection from games like this, but when the average player can catch obvious errors in roughly every other sentence or so it can become very distracting. Unfortunately as great as CoH was it had a huge number of very overt typos that persisted for years despite constant pleas for correction.

The thing I don't understand in this day and age is why game Devs can't seem to be bothered to (as a minimum) run their final text through a typical spellchecker before it's released to the players. I understand that automated spell/grammar checkers aren't perfect (especially for fictional names and such) but they can catch 80-90% of the most obvious errors in a matter of minutes. It just seems like it would be a point of simple professionalism to at least "try" to provide an error-free product.

I often wonder the same thing myself. You don't even need to purchase text editing software anymore to get a decent spell check.

First, thanks for being here, and letting us know you're interested.

The topic title is spot on. Spelling and grammar checking inside word processors gets me a good ways there, but proof reading is still required. It's amazing what happens to the meaning when you change an "n" to a "d", as in rain versus raid. Automated programs just can't track that.

It's also very useful to have someone else look over your work: self-reviewing sometimes just stamps your mental image over what's really there. Additionally, it's good to get other perspectives. Just my two cents worth.

I am so excited at the prospect of a game similar to one I enjoyed for so many years is on the horizon.

I happily offer to volunteer my time proof-reading/editing, or anything else of which I am capable, to the team. I have been referred to as a grammar Nazi once or twice. I suppose I can be rather rigid when it comes to proper grammar and spelling but I'd rather not claim the title!

Please, let me know if I can be of help in any way.

I also volunteer proof-reading/editing. As a writer myself I know an extra pair of eyes can make all the difference in getting rid of that one pesky little typo.

Any person that is interested

Any person that is interested in becoming part of the Composition Team, be it as a writer or an editor, please send me a PM regarding your interest and any relevant skills. If you have a resume, that is nice to get, but it is certainly not required.

I will respond to all messages with further information as quickly as possible.

If you wish to join the team in any department other than Composition, please send an email to contact@missingworldsmedia.com , including your resume/CV, and any pertinent information regarding your department of preference.

Thanks for your interest!
