Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Private First Class Becky

Private First Class Becky Beret, Army, joined for the travel and get a husband, ended up falling in love with a career in the Anti-Giant Monster Division of the Army. Now is sent all over the world when called up to take on a giant monster. When she's not doing that, or training to do that, she's General Becket's secretary.

First with the find a husband comment and then with the secretary role, I think you just outraged every feminist on the planet. It even made me uncomfortable to read that. If you want to edit or delete your post, I will happily edit or delete this one so the quote isn't there for posterity.

Interestingly, to me

Interestingly, to me Huckleberry's post came off as more of a "Hey a lot of this seems like it might offend people, and if you want to edit it that's cool and I'll delete this post."

But really the offensive stuff is what I emboldened in your post, dude. You've reacted very visibly to Huck.

How you talk to people matters, man, even on the internet. If you need a reminder about repercussions -- remember that these forums are occasionally moderated and threads have been locked, removed, and devs have contacted people about their behaviors on these subjects before.

Just food for thought.

Ummm...wow. I didn't put any thought into trying to offend anyone.

In fact, I had her join for one thing, then find she loves it and becomes a bad ass. As for the secretary part, I was thinking more along the lines of The Unit, a military show, where the bad ass special forces had cover jobs, some of which were "I do paperwork".

So, if there was no offense trying to be put out or anything, though you may be trying to find some.

Lol. If you are worried about being offended by other people's comments/opinions you shouldn't be on the internet, anywhere on the internet. No matter what you say it will offend someone. I'd never open my mouth if I was scared of offending someone...after all, it's your own choice to be offended.

How do you know this character wasn't set in an alternate universe where the nukes dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki awoke Godzilla and his friends to terrorize the world? This could be set like in an alternate post WWII setting (i.e. 1950s) where talk of a woman "joining the army to get a husband" or "being a general's secretary" would still be perfectly socially acceptable (or at least not-shocking).

This is ultimately the problem with "hair-trigger reactionary SJWing". When you automatically assume everything is even the tiniest bit "anti-feminist" or "sexist" you tend overreact to things that really aren't (or at the very least weren't meant to be). A woman who wants to get married and work as someone's secretary is NOT automatically a BAD thing even in 2018 no matter how much feminists would have you believe. If nothing else it shows she has plans for her life and is willing to work for them as opposed to most Millennials now-a-days who don't have a problem camping out in their parents' basements forever.

Hell, I'm offended every time I watch the evening news, but I can't shove my head in the sand either, so its up to me to deal with it and learn to let it go... It's part of life...

Gotta say, telling someone something that pisses them off then saying why are you mad is kinda repugnant... He reacted like he did because he didn't do anything wrong.

I say she's Cantankerous Jane - out to do some justice in an unjust world. She doesn't care who she offends she just wants to make things right, with a really big gun, disguised as a Motorpatrol Tank... Great ride by the way, I could use that on the way to work everyday.

I mean, I'm not the one making nor enforcing the rules on these forums, just strictly citing precedent that the devs who occasionally moderate these forums follow.

I'm not offended in the slightest, I just see the similarities to how other threads have derailed on similar subjects and the devs typically show up to shut down the immature behavior.

That's all.

My first thought was that she is a rich genius, like Tony Stark, that creates her own gadgets and tech and spends her timing improving the world as she see's fit. Most of the time what she does is considered 'good' by the majority, but sometimes it's 'suspect' because she doesn't answer to anyone.

This thread veered in a rather different direction than I imagined. I had thought more comments about how badly designed that bike is would show up. I mean I know it's just some art that isn't meant to be taken seriously, but it pushes beyond that for me. As I mentioned earlier, no kickstand visible. The driver has to duck her head fully forward to get inside the cockpit, and even then there's no head clearance for a bumpy ride. Lowest part of the front armor isn't sloped for some reason. But if we mention armor, then the driver and engine are exposed from the sides. No visible sensory equipment, not even a radio antennae. And the top gun looks impossible to aim while driving a motorcycle. A gunner would solve that, but no room and they would soon pass out from repeated head impacts anyway.

Sorry, I'm overdoing it I know. But it's to save the thread.

I think that because we see another engine cylinder through the gap in the middle, and it's alignment supports a two-wheeled width. I see what you're saying about the other dark circular shape under the machine gun, but it has to be part of the machine gun and not another wheel because of that width.
Edit: or it could be the wheel of a sidecar. That would be cool.

TBH, I also saw the design of the vehicle to have all the "flaws" you pointed out and would be a terrible death trap assuming anyone wasted the money to actually try to build it. It's basically "half-a-tank" that protects everything with armor EXCEPT the pilot and likely would be both too heavy to move fast as well as too light to fire its weapons accurately without tipping itself over.

But heck if you bothered to over-analyze "artistic renditions" like this for "engineering realism" they would most likely all fail one way or another so it's usually easier to just try to suspend your disbelief and just assume it would "work" the way we accept most sci-fi.

The shadow on the ground does not extend over to that possible "third wheel" so I'm going to assume it's not a wheel but instead just a rounded part attached under the two-wheeled chassis.

Alright, now to reverse

Alright, now to reverse course and redeem myself! The NPC is known as RRRRiot GRRL and is the product of mad science. What you see as the driver is actually a non-detachable android shaped robot that is part of the bike itself. "She" is the sensor package AND user interface combined. Oh and also the kickstand. (Still owning that!) No one knows who built her and she isn't telling. She's frequently seen and welcomed at outdoor raves rocking her superior sound system. Favorite musical selections include any heavy metal and the William Tell Overture.

I only see two wheels and it could be gyro-stabilized. Also not offended by husbands or secretaries. Secretaries have awesome powers! They often act as 'flappers' for important people. They control and direct information.
