Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

For example the animation of a guy holding out both hands to fire off an energy blast is likely going to look the same no matter which archetype you're talking about. But the fact that I could choose a one-handed aesthetic for a power while you could choose the two-handed version should be enough to give us the "suspension of disbelief" of more uniqueness than we might actually have.

This is an interesting point that I didn't know CoT was implementing. Is that confirmed? being able to choose emanation point/points? That will add a fair amount of variety...especially if you have enough choices for the emanation point(s). Take a blaster for example...could I choose, for a ranged attacked, to shoot from one hand, two hands, eyes, or from a prop like a gun or staff or wand, etc? And for each power? That is a lot more customized that I originally though...if true.

It has been confirmed. Feet and even forehead is an option.

Phenomenal.

I figure like everything else we'll probably only get a handful of emanation point choices at first but hopefully after launch we'll start to get more unusual ones for further customization. For instance one of the more requested ones I've seen here relates to having powers come from "shoulder pets".

I can easily live with that as I didn't even know we would get to choose different emanation points!

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.

From what I remember power

From what I remember power aesthetics will be compromised of:

Props. Any potential objects used, primarily weapon but also things that are not traditionally thought of as weapons like books.
Character animation, how your character moves while activating the power.
Emanation point, "origin point" of the power including several points on the body and from the prop. It has even been hinted to include free floating ones like a bird hovering besides you.
Projectile/trail animation and effects. Any effects that it leaves behind when going through the air.
Hit Fx. What it looks like when it hits the target.

Don't forget that we can change the color as well and that can have a huge effect on how it looks.

It was originally stated that MWM would limit the aesthetic choices to what they would deem appropriate for each power set based on their mechanical theme but they gave up on it since, I think, it became too much work compared to any potential benefit so they dropped the plans for such a limit and just allow any aesthetic that fit the power type (melee, ranged, single target, aoe and so on).

This is correct. We are also looking at a limit of 2 aesthetic suites (a collection of similar themes) allowed per character for performance reasons. We may get 3 working. This includes props within the limit.

Can I have a Laser Navel?

Can I have a Laser Navel? Or should that be Navel Laser? Never could remember that.
