Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

I'm usually not too annoyed when a game has 1, 5 or even a few dozen spelling/grammar errors. But as much as I loved CoH it was vaguely irksome how the Devs allowed literally hundreds of typos to linger across the game for years.

I'm hoping the Devs of CoT will be able to spend a few hours throwing the game's text through a modern spell/grammar checker before launch. That should be able to catch roughly 90% of the silly mistakes automagically.

I agree, and it seemed to get worse with each release. Towards the end I tried to turn it into a mini-game with every new issue, attempting to get through any single arc without encountering an error. It wasn't really an enjoyable game, though -- and, sadly, I never succeeded. To me, the worst were where they made vocabulary errors solely because their reach exceeded their grasp of English -- the sort where you go, "Huh? ... Ohhhhh.... I see you meant to say..."

Spurn all ye kindle.

There's a mission in CO where you fight this named NPC whose name I forget.
Let's say it's El Gergrio

The random mobs say in speech bubbles
"We would die for El Geregrio"

If you can't even get the name of your own boss right, you do deserve to be kicked until you give me XP.

If people won't pay enough to finance its creation, it is not worth creating.

Sometimes the rules of

Sometimes the rules of English are just silly. One way to change is to ignore them, if everyone, and I mean everyone, agreed that whom wasn't necessary or any more clear then who, the rule would be changed, and whom would be as archaic as doth.
I feel that singular acronyms should pluralize with an apostrophe and an s: this separates them from normally plural acronyms (e.g. USA, USSR) and allows a convention of capitalizing only beginnings of words on acronyms.

I disagree, it is much better

I disagree, it is much better without apostrophe, and it would make the accursed ambiguity of the English language - it is a plural, not a genetive! It is al'so rather unplea'sing ae'sthetically to have the'se apo'strophe's without a purpo'se, and leave's an unprofe's's'ional impre's's'ion.
Even worse considering that your apostrophe is much to infective already, with German increasingly corrupted by the "Deppenapostroph"* in genetive's... or plural's... or in 's'ome ca's'e's' even where it i's ju's't part of the word ("Apre's Ski")!

*"Idiot Apostrophe". In German, an apostrophe is only appropriate for contractions and genetives of words ending in s (or similar sound). In the latter case, this is because in this case, you do not use a genetive suffix (e.g. Xerxes')

So freed of the rant:
While there are changes that I would like to perform upon the English "orthography", they go in the opposed direction.

To each his own, though I do

To each his own, though I do see the point of having apostrophes for contractions and genitives (I assume this to be the technical term for "possessive"). For the cases such as "Xerxes'" (notice the apostrophe becomes fused with the quotation), "Jesus'", or "Thomas's" I'm also in the apostrophe s camp: although JEEZ-us-es and tom-AS-es are mouthfuls, the conflict between ' or 's should be decided one way or the other, and I think ALL ENGLISH POSSESSIVES (or genitives) should end in 's when singular, 100% of the time, no exceptions.
This is partially because I don't really find apostrophes very inaesthetic.

Proofreading really should be

Proofreading really should be a serious consideration, and should be easily delegable to volunteers who have the appropriate skills or inclination. I have a BA in English, but my wife, whose degree is in Biology, is MUCH better at proofreading than I am just by her detailed nature.
