Once again, Josh Strife Hayes hits the nail on the head with this one as to why older MMO games "feel better" than their modern iterations.

And then there's the example of [b][i]embrace the adversity[/i][/b] embodied in Elden Ring that modern MMO designers simply [b]do not understand[/b] because it goes against everything they have been taught and learned (git gud, scrub!) about how to make and design MMOs.
