I don't write in the forums of most of the games I play and that included CoH and it will prolly be the case with CoT also. An that got me thinking as I do my weekly read up on all the new info of CoT that had been revealed on the forums and on FB. There are lots of people like me that don't up vote and spam that "like" button that are sitting and waiting, maybe not patiently but waiting for City of Titans to come out and will be there day one to buy it.
Not much rime or reason to my post but just to give a shout out to every one that is working on CoT that there are a lot of us silent type that really really appreciate all the hard work that that is going into Titans and just like CoH will be there at the open beta an pre-order.
Thanks for every thing :)
Following in this same sentiment, I would like to +1 this.
Rock on MWM.
In case you haven't seen it, MWM folks have on more than one occasion said that they are quite aware that the folks who post frequently on the forums are only a vocal minority -- so they definitely know you're out there as the 'silent majority' and they keep you in mind for perspective when we frequent forumites are ranting about the latest topic of the day.
Spurn all ye kindle.
And yet when someone *does* bring up a problem with how the news has been spread out over the various routes, that messenger gets shot down and told "You shouldn't know this stuff because you are not entitled to it".
So yes, whilst they might well be taking the views of the silent majority into consideration, they definitely forget sometimes that the news is not always given out correctly either through all their channels (if at all [1])
So yes, they are aware about it, but it seems like they have a lot of work to do as well...
[1] If you look at the main page of City of Titans here, the last news update was about the Vril.... but since that update, we have had news about the "enhancement" system... that was 5 or 6 days ago. The news about the wallpapers being available was hidden at the *very* bottom of a totally unrelated Kickstarter update, and there was no indication at the start of the newsletter that it was even there.
Glad you're there Indigo and Robo, and the rest of you silent majoritites. Look forward to meeting you ingame!
FIGHT EVIL! (or go cause trouble so the Heroes have something to do.)
