Various holiday events are pretty standard in MMOs these days, but I never see a parade. Sure, you might be able to get a bunch of PCs to march down a street, but there's no theme or event support for it, so they're dodging traffic and limited to power and pet effects they can generate for everyday use. I'd like to see event support for a more realistic parade in the game, maybe a few times a year, maybe even once a month (I'm sure we can come up with 12 justifications for a parade, especially if it means getting more use out of the code). TCPD hanging out at intersections blocking traffic, no traffic on the parade route, NPCs gathered at the sides of the street. Floats and marching bands and firetrucks and low flying blimps and dancing clowns and dozens of randomly dropped boosts and minor loot all over the place, and maybe even a catastrophe or enemy assault that will force the parade to stop and cancel if players can't put a stop to it (even villains... The Black Rose has a lot invested in some of these parades).
