Went to go see the new Pacific Rim movie today.

I found it a worthy successor to the first film. Also, best to watch it in a theater, so you can see all the [i]breaking glass[/i] from the property damage falling [i]in daylight[/i] this time.

And the setup for movie 3 was nicely done, with respect to the continuity and world building that has been done so far. Best of all, the story and events for this film weren't a "rehash" of what got done in the first film. They "grew" the universe of Pacific Rim in some rather interesting ways. Now I want to see what they're going to do in movie 3.
