I guess if I'm gonna get locked up the first day I might as well make it an event! I'll start a Charity naked mile walk for the CoH survivors so they can afford the move to Titan City. I heard the rent in Alexandria and Charleston isn't cheap! :D

Sounds like fun! I'll definitely join in! My responsibilities will be to The Titan Legacy, who I'm sure will be doing something; but I'll definitely be taking the day off work, so I'll have plenty of time! :-D

First thing I did after the tutorial in CoH back in November 2004 was to go jogging around Atlas Park. Just to get familiar with the controls and movement. And see the sights.

I would be one of the many victims of some insane sickness on Opening day. Symptoms are the inability to sleep, eye strain, constant rerolling / making characters, and going on Map uncovering teams! These are the known symptoms of this future ride ranging plague.

According to the original plan the character creator for this game ought to be released as a standalone app many months before the game itself is even ready for beta testing. If that works out then we'll have a VERY long time to play around with creating and perfecting all sorts of character costumes and body settings long before launch day.
Still won't prevent me from taking a "sick day" (or three) for the game's launch anyway. ;)

Foradain may have the "correct understanding" about what you said but it seems you didn't read what I said about it.
Again if everything goes according to MWM's plan we're going to have access to the standalone Avatar Builder app many MONTHS before the game goes live. We're not just going to have 48 hours prior to the launch to "create our live game characters" - we should have months to do that. Assuming you bother to create your characters some time before launch day all you'll need to do is upload your pre-made characters the minute the game goes live.
P.S. Remember the game will be using a global naming system so there won't even be a need to "rush" in to grab the character name(s) you want. There really shouldn't be any reason for anyone to get an "early headstart" to do anything 48 hours before the official launch.
