When i played COH I wanted to get involved many friends to the game but cuz they didn't speak english they lost interest. I think it will be important even other languages like french, Germán , etc.

We intend to localize the

We intend to localize the game at least into German and French and possibly Spanish.

We already have several German volunteers.

No promises, but that is on the checklist.

I'd be willing to bet that if

I'd be willing to bet that if there's a language in which you'd like to see localization, the good people at MWM would accept your volunteer efforts to make it happen.

Get yourself right; the world has enough problems.

If i could choose it will be

If i could choose it will be spanish... But i understand that first it needs to find out if is convenient. THINK ABOUT IT, if you have german or french is far less that spanish speaking population, counts Spain and basically all central and south america except Brasil.
Something to keep in mind.

Keep in mind, CoH did not have a Spanish client, but did have French and German clients. That is why those two languages would get preference, to reach old CoH players.

There is a reason... Cuz

There is a reason... Cuz german and french have higher education lvls, i believe cuz of it more ppl speaking english and this is a bridge for them to get to know the game. Knowing this the COH thought it would be a good idea to add Germán and french. I trully believe spanish it has to be considered as a potential amount of players.

I believe german and french

I believe german and french clients (as well as one server each) were made for the EU market because combined with English they could reach the most amount of players, as a great many Europeans spoke at lease one of the three languages. I'm not saying that a spanish client is a bad idea, but I can see the reason for going with german and french first, if they even make a non-english client, for the same reason NC soft did.

Subjectively what I saw was

Subjectively what I saw was that most South Americans that played CoH were actually Brazilian, so Portuguese speaking, but maybe this was because of their habit of putting (BR) in their names somehwere.

One of them even started typing at me in Portuguese assuming I was Brazilian just because I named my snake themed WS Jararaca Pintada (a viper from there). I speak aenough Spanish to be able to understand simple written Portuguese so could give him a sensible reply.

Tell me if you need one more. I can't do much, but I CAN spell check (at least in German...so please ignore any spelling or grammar mistakes in this post).

When people ask me about my religion, I tell 'em I'd worship Cthulhu.

How bad could I possibly be? Let's see...

Is it just me or anyone else

Is it just me or anyone else also loves how cool new, pre-release game forums can be?

Anyway, if the opportunity comes up, i'd love to help with a Brazilian/Portuguese forum section.

Can't wait for release news!!
Keep it up \o/
