So when CoH launched we took the park.... but stuff spawned in it... Creating havoc amongst those players who came to rp on lvl 1's for whatever reason a lvl 1 was needed.
Then the club....... it had it's good and bad. The good, I can see both heroes and villains. The bad... im always in a club if i wanted to communicate cross faction. I didn't have a choice to have a meeting with the other faction in the middle of a sunny field... or on a back alley, or a 50's soda shop, or a museum.........
I am not sure how the cross faction communication thing is going to work. (Haven't seen anything on it yet, but I have lots of information to read through still.) However, if city areas could have something like 1 block of space that just didn't spawn hostile NPC's and was accessible to both factions it would be an unobtrusive way to aide the rp community without having to openly flag a "come here to rp" zone. It would cut down on griefing, and give settings to the community for community events.

Yes.. I too would enjoy a place where I can taunt heroes without having to constantly punch the feeble fools who attempt to guard it from me.

Well, it's too early yet to know how they are going to handle spawning. A Serenity Park would be nice, as would other areas with not only no combat, but no powers at all. It used to tick me off no end to stand there at the trainer within about 6 peoples AoEs going on all the time.

Please yes. An area where either no powers work, or only travel powers, with no spawns and themically appropriate meeting places for heroes/villains!
And actual action taken against RP griefers!
