I donated to the kickstarter but didn't get around to creating an account here until now. I created my account from the CoT mainpage. I DID use the same email address as my kickstarter acct. Was I supposed to do it differently to link this to my KS acct somehow?
ARE these accts linked somehow? I just want to make sure I get the KS badge and the like when the time comes.

Actually I've read them, I know they're working on it. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't supposed to create my acct from a link on the KS page or something (I didn't see one, but I'm less that totally observant).
I didn't know if I needed to link the two accts somehow to facilitate the process.

**EDIT** Evidently I didn't read far enough. I just saw this: "If you used the same email to sign up on the forums and for the kick starter they won't send anything; if they are different then they will contact you."

its worth noting that they are having to do this *manually* as well (even for the accounts that are the same)
