Hey there's a lot of these threads going on about helping people with backstories and names for characters, so I thought I might just do one for a character I was developing. Basically he's an alien who pretty much the stereotypical star child grey alien looking guy. His species also has a genetic trait for mad science to such an extent that there actual understanding of laws of the universe are still in the 1950's tech range but they can still manage space travel, have ray guns and all the other stuff people in the 1950's thought the future was going to be like. I want a real name but one that sounds like something an alien from a 1950's sci fi movie would have, and I'm thinking someone with a more 1950's sci fi meets gritty 1930's noir with a dash of Paul Dini era batman feel to him. Also I'm going to ned help expanding what exactly made him into a refugee in the first place.

Edit: and as for why he's a refugee? He could have disagreed with how his species operates, or how they usually treat other races. His planet could have been destroyed and his people hunted across the Galaxy so he's hiding out on earth.
