Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.
To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.
1. Not sure.
2. Not sure, but I think it's one set (possibly from a choice of several for your class/spec) plus a few tertiary powers.
3. They're working on the store.
4. Only way I can think of to increase your chances of this is to put a post in the Suggestions and Ideas: You speak to the Devs! forum. But they read almost everything if they have time; I've even had a dev reply to a question I raised in a character's backstory ^_^.
5. We can only hope! If we get the kickstarter shirts in time, I'll be wearing mine at Comic-Con. But only on one day. ^_^

Satellite9Irezoomie2. I think we'll get 2 powersets, where "powerset" means something similar to CoH's groups of 9 powers that shared a common purpose such as controlling enemies or shooting them from a distance. Our character would choose the two powersets during character creation: a primary powerset and a secondary powerset.
Refer to the Class / Spec chart: http://cityoftitans.com/forum/updated-classification-and-specification-chart
The "Class" determines which powersets my character can pick from, to use as my primary powerset.
The Class has the strongest influence on how this character will engage in combat.
Let's say I choose "Mitigation - Defense" as my class.
Now I get to pick one of the Defense powersets: Invulnerability, Super Reflexes, Forcefields, etc.*
If I choose "Invulnerability" as the primary (class) powerset, then as I level up, my character would get access to powers that provide toughness and resistance to injury, especially physical damage.
The "Spec" determines which powersets my character can pick from, to use as my secondary powerset.
Let's say I choose "Offense - Melee" as my spec.
Now I get to pick one of the Melee powersets: Swordfighting, Super Strength, Martial Arts, etc.*
If I choose "Martial Arts" as the secondary (spec) powerset, then as I level up, my character would get access to powers that physically strike the enemy to damage them, and possibly have side effects like stunning or knockdown.
So my character Class / Spec is "Defense / Melee" (the tank archetype, in CoH terms), specifically using the combination of two powersets that I selected: Invulnerability / Martial Arts. As I level up, I would be able to choose (or skip) powers from the Invulnerability powerset, the Martial Arts powerset, and the list of tertiary powers (travel, etc) to custom-build my character's actual list of usable powers.
*Note: powerset names are just examples, what will be available at game launch is still TBD.
The overall scheme is accurate as best as I can tell, from what's been made public so far.
2: According to the Flash and Substance KS update, There will be Classes (read: Primary Powersets), Specifications (read: Secondary Powersets), Masteries (no idea what this is), and "splashes" of other powers allowed.

Masteries would be akin to the class inherent powers from CoH, such as Gauntlet (tanks), Scourge (corrupters), Defiance (blasters), etc.

I was under the impression they'd be more open to choice.

You would have a choice I think up to three based on archetype. I was referring to how they would function in the game mechanically.
