Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

I hope once the character creator is to the point where the devs feel comfortable announcing it is successfully integrated that we'll get a more marketing focused drive from them. Especially when they finally open up the Second Chance, I think they should try release with it a pre-recorded video of actual CoT gameplay. It will be beta or pre-beta or whatever, not fully polished obviously, but still something to see their progress. Like, maybe a couple of devs running part of some random mission, some actual fighting maybe, perhaps a travel power or two going around a small part of a city or neighborhood that isn't just green/blue blocks but detailed close to what it might look like in-game. I don't know, just something more than the recent twitch streams.

The problem with that at this

The problem with that at this point is that the MWM team has mentioned they developed everything at the component level. So there is no integration at this point. There is no guarantee that the build won't break when they compile ComponentA into the main source code. And similarly no guarantee that integrating ComponentB doesn't break ComponentA. So they have a lot of work ahead of themselves debugging new issues every time a new chunk of code merges into the main build.

So that is why it might be difficult to deliver on some of those video requests.

I feel like a lot of those things should be getting around to being taken care of this close to a possible launch, though. If they don't have any of that done, they shouldn't be saying there is a possibility of a 2018 launch. If there is a possibility of it, for marketing purposes, they should be able to put something together to show everyone why they should want to play.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.

We had hoped to have integration done by now, but issues when we integrated the character generator's caused all sorts of problems. As I've said in the past, if we cannot get them resolved by mid-March, we will need to revise the schedule.

As we have artists who have a heart attack whenever we don't use our own character models for videos, this has the side-effect of making it impossible to show off a lot of work.

I'm purposefully not paying close attention, so as to not micromanage the people handling it. But, so far it's progressing, not as fast as I'd like, but it's still progressing.
