Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Mobile Platforms

Is there any hope of delivering on iOS, Android, and Switch in the future?

I would doubt it.

I would doubt it.

Though I wouldn't mind seeing some kind of mobile game tie-in. Perhaps one where doing stuff on the mobile app nets you some stuff in the main game.

I would say "anything's possible" but realistically speaking I'd peg the chances at maybe 0.0037% and only then after the game's been live for several years at least.

It's more likely we'd get some kind of official "character build planner" or "character costume creator" app before we'd actually get to play the game itself via mobile.

They said a Chargen would be available for mobile, but I can't imagine the game itself would be.

Stop playing fortnite ;p

Mobile devices have serious

Mobile devices have serious limitations for full gameplay. Right now the character creator in its limited form really dogs on an older (2013) laptop. I'd hate to think how'd it run on the current crop of mobile devices. Modern tablets seem to handle it though. We'll just have to experiment.

Not to mention a number of

Not to mention a number of platforms (FFXI, LOTRO, Neverwinter, to name a few) have had to kill all off-platform data access at one point of the development path or another, and they've all stated the reason as "causes too much lag in game when the database is accessed".

Yes, my art gallery is almost entirely screen captures. Tough.

By off-platform do you mean free-standing tools and not add-ons? If so then yes they really fucked up IF it was a legitimate effect. And there would be a very simple solution to it by having a read-only replica dedicated for that API, assuming they have a different one from the one the game client uses.

Frankly, they did F-up in

Frankly, they did F-up in some of these cases. LOTRO's character database is the most bizarre and arcane approach: it saves the base lvl 1 character, and all the incremental improvements seen over the course of game play. On every new game session, it loads the base, then applies those changes.

And Cryptic's code (Champions Online, STO, Neverwinter) is charitably described as "spaghetti". FFXI at least has the excuse of dating back to the turn of the century.

Remember that games like CO and STO aren't -that- much younger code-wise. Based on their launch dates alone it's likely they first started initial coding for them around 2005 give or take.
