Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Maps

When I bought the original boxed edition of CoH it came with a map. Great! It went up on my wall beside my monitor and I never (well, mostly, uuhhhh, almost never) got lost.

But then they started updating the maps, adding in new ones and changing old ones. Not that I'm complaining, it was a great to see the game living, breathing and growing. What was not so great, was that my map was now outdated. By the time the game came closed, badly outdated.

My point?

Can we please have Downloadable, Scaleable, Printable Maps?

I don't care if I have to use a dozen 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper to have a good looking map. I just want a map that is regularly updated and available to print out.

As a later option, allow players to add notes to it before they print it. Favorite Sunset Spots, Badge Locations, etc.

If they provide it as a simple image file then you should be able to add whatever you want to it before printing it, which I think is the best option for this kind of "service".

I have nothing against having a nice overall map of the game or even having the folks at MWM create the initial one. But this could be something that creative players (who have time on their hands) could update for the community on their own. The Devs don't actually need to be 100% responsible for maintaining everything related to this game. Just the recent example of Fallout 4 shows there can be dozens of good useful soft-copy maps generated by a player community.

I used Vidiot maps, wasn't perfect for adding my own notes but it did have all the useful information. As far as having a city map. Since everything will be non-zoned I think a broad "boro" map could be fine for a printed copy with the release that wouldn't age as quickly.

As for the detailed map. I think if they included a high rez jpg of the in-game city map that could be imported for use in the mini map that would be awesome. Or if you could save your own waypoints as an in game object, like in SWG. Which can then be duplicated and shared that would be even better.

Being able to bring up the map in-game would almost completely remove the need for a hard copy, wouldn't it? I mean a real map, not a blacked-out version. I think giving people the non-blacked-out version is fair, at least for the public zones, as those would, in the immersive RP sense, be places in the fake world that would have maps available. Obviously, no secret doors or anything marked, just the overt stuff. Also, would it be any easier to let people print out the city map on their own, using their own printer? Or to let us save it as a jpeg for future use/modification?

True, Google Maps is a thing,

True, Google Maps is a thing, so we should, at least, be able to see the surface streets.
