Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Macro-able Costume Change Power with animation effect!

CoH had all of these things and people did SO MANY cool, creative things with them--and the animation effects were a great touch.

For example, one thing I used it for was a Fire Scrapper who was really a demon in human form, but I had also made a demon-form costume. I had his demon-form costume macroed to "Rise of the Phoenix" so that after being defeated he just rose up all flaming and more demony than ever. It was epic.

It sounds like from what I've read that this may be possible in CoT, but I didn't see a specific discussion of precisely this. Did a little search-fu, but my search-fu can be admittedly weak at times.

I'd love to see this be not only possible, but planned out an and more streamlined than the way that it eventually evolved in CoH.

I'd be shocked if CoT didn't

I'd be shocked if CoT didn't eventually have some version of CoH's CCEs (Costume Change Emotes). Now remember even CoH didn't introduce official CCEs until a few years after launch but by the end there were roughly 40-50 of them. I could see where CoT might provide a handful of "classic" ones at launch and then roll-out more for future updates.

But like you described it was always possible to use the keybind system to connect powers to costume changes even without CCEs. Assuming CoT provides a keybinding system like the one in CoH it'll be possible to set up all sorts of things.

How do you all feel about

How do you all feel about this being a cash shop kinda thing? Don't need it to win, and it puts money the MWM's pocket.

A quick review of the CCEs from CoH shows us that most of them were offered as part of the Super Booster Packs. I wouldn't mind if many of the CoT ones were cash store items as long as at least a few were also "free" and/or unlockable by doing in-game content (again more or less the way CoH handled them).

I switch outfits enough even

I switch outfits enough even in games where i'm not playing a super that costume change emotes are something I'd go for.

An infinite number of tries doesn't mean that any one of those tries will succeed. I could flip an infinite number of pennies an infinite number of times and, barring genuine randomness, they will never come up "Waffles".

Exactly.

It's not so much a question of if they will be available through the cash store but rather the proportions between completely free (baseline and unlockable through game play only) to mixed free and cash to cash store exclusive.

I had very small characters

I had very small characters in CO. In DCUO, characters were unable to become very small. Basically, my characters would transform into to larger creatures.

This was my thinking with the monkey toon

I was doing waaaay too much in CO lol. I even removed some powers from the smaller guy's build to make him a weaker toon that I use to walk around town. Give it a sense of the second build macro being more powerful, and battle oriented.

I never got into CoH, seems far less of a hassle to make costume power changing emotes than in CO. CO was very forced. More than forced, you had to go waaay out of your way to make a bootleg one like I did.

As a child, I thought my name was handsome, cause that is what everyone called me.
