Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Log Horizon

Log Horizon: Crunchyroll Link

There are, of course, other sources to download and watch Log Horizon from, but I figure a link to the Crunchyroll page will cause the least amount of squabbling.

Although this anime falls into the "Players Trapped In Virtual Game World" genre that traces lineage back to the .hack and Sword Art Online series, Log Horizon just has way too many ridiculously good concepts and ideas in it. I would exhort EVERYONE on staff at Missing Worlds Media ... the World Builders in particular ... to give Log Horizon a chance if you haven't seen it yet.

Although Log Horizon is set in what amounts to "yet another fantasy game" setting, an awful lot of the concepts and principles of what is happening, going on and potentially COULD happen are issues and topics that apply to pretty much any and every MMORPG on the market today. Team dynamics, social dynamics, guilds, quality of life, classes, professions, *POLITICS*, fighters vs crafters vs merchants and the in-game economy, PvE vs PvP, life and death ... PCs vs NPCs ... quests, reputations, in-game services ... and so much more is running rife and rampant through the episodes of Log Horizon. Heck, even the animations of use of "powers" could be an inspiration for the City of Titans visual FX developers (especially Akatsuki's "ninja" powers!).

Even better yet, it is quite possible to watch Log Horizon on multiple levels ... that of the gamer, that of the game designer (ie. the meta game), and that of the NPCs within the game world itself. Definitely a rich resource of ideas to be mined! Cannot recommend this series highly enough to anyone who reads these forums!

Well, it's Media and Redlynne

Well, it's Media and Redlynne is Sharing it.

However, perhaps we can get some more context for why it's being shared?

I do know that Redlynne is a big-time manga/anime fan and I sometimes enjoy them too.

Be Well!

Yes I understand it's Media,

Yes I understand it's Media, but wouldn't this be better served in a Dev thread or something like it, rather than the generic art forum, which I am not sure the developers are reading for game content, unless the thread is about game content? Just trying to help, I'm sure the suggestion is valid...

I think it's a safer bet to

I think it's a safer bet to assume that Developers (such as artists) are paying attention to this forum.

As for why I'm sharing...? Do reasons beyond "this is both awesome *and* potentially useful in multiple ways" need to be explained? Seriously, try watching the first 2-3 episodes and see if there's anything there that you'd like to see incorporated into City of Titans (I personally found at least a *dozen* ideas, concepts and "nifty bits" that I'd want to steal for use in City of Titans). What more need be said?

I don't get mad, I restructure the laws of quantum physics and resolve the situation with temporal engineering.

Have seen the first dozen

Have seen the first dozen episodes and while some of the usual Anime tropes bother me, it has some very good stories going on. And I though I was the only one called 'Villain in glasses' lol!

I remember when Star Wars was cool...a long, long time ago...

Assume nothing. :)

For example? The little logo and red attached to my sig where it says 'Art Team'? I designed some logos and worked on the project quite a bit about a year ago. When they were kind of in their infancy. They needed people and I stepped up.

But I have had no official involvement (for legal reasons - I work in software and with software companies that make products like this, so it's a conflict of interest if I help too much or on specific areas). So for me - no real involvement since... really what ... August? And really, it's more like late April/May of last year.

I pretty much stepped out of things quite a while ago. So you probably know more about the current state of things than I do, or who to talk to. I may get more involved as time and situations where I'm not in conflict with my real life job allow -- but like I said right now, you know probably more than I do.

I do know - If you really want a Dev or designer to look at your ideas - post here, but send a link to them also with your idea in a PM or in the Dev areas. A lot of stuff happens around here and I 100% garrantee you posting on a forum area without letting them know -- it's going to be hit or miss at best if they see it.

So - best bet -- post and send a PM, or just PM them. Zombie man or someone will make sure it's seen.

Thanks, Mike

Thanks, Mike

Sending a PM is certainly OK, but you might be surprised how many of these topics are being followed.

Keep it coming, folks

That can only happen once the Forums start reporting thread Views using numbers other than zero.

Didn't say they weren't followed - just that if you actually want to be heard, your best bet is still a PM or a more direct method of contact. :D

Akatsuki Ninja Movement

Akatsuki Ninja Movement animated gif.

If you want to watch this happen in the anime (the sound effect for it is perfect!), you want Episode 2 starting around 3:50.

Just one more reason why I've always believed that the natural movement type for Ninjas isn't Leaping ... it's Teleport.

Here's another one showing Akatsuki "landing" from one of these.
