Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Well, we are planning on a major overhaul of this site. You are correct that the forums aren't a good place for this info. Not really sure where it should go. This forum software has some limitations we hope to get around with the update, but the guy updating it has a lot on his plate as is. We've gotten a new PR team and they are still trying to get it all together but it will take time as they have a lot of back work to catch up on. I suggested the wiki as a stopgap measure. TitanCity has done good work in getting it set up; it just needs some love.

I don't see the point of a wiki on Issue #0 since there so little official information on it. It would basically just be speculation. Again, too many different things have been said by different devs to be able to say, on a wiki, "this is what is going to happen." It would just be a lot of maybes and hopefully's.

What you forget about that is that MWM can give some lore information to feed the wiki (i think) like some characters ans their story

Why would they do that instead of putting it on their own website? If they are going to take the time to put together something that can be shared as official then they need to to be doing it from their own website and not a wiki. That makes zero sense unless it's to a news site. A wiki should never have more information about a game than the game's own website.

Um.... EVERY wiki has more information about a game than a game's own website. I'd love to see you find me a game that doesn't.

Find me a game that is at CoT's stage of development with a wiki that has more info than the games own site. Most games wouldnt have even been announced yet at this point in their development. Please explain to me the point of a dev taking the time to give new information to a wiki site instead of just sharing it as an update on this site where it is going to have FAR more visibility to fans.

After a game is released, sure, wiki's are going to have more information because there are dozens or hundreds of players updating the site and anyone can just play the game to answer their questions so the dev team is understandably going to focus on the game. That's not the case here, though. All relevant, official info needs to be HERE because this is where future players are going to come until the game is actually released.

EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm not against wikis at all. I just don't think the devs should make updates for wiki sites and not their official forums at this time. They recently did one for a news site but that, by nature, is going to reach far more potential players than a wiki site.

Compulsively clicking the refresh button until the next update.

Oh, well no, wikis are community created. That's the whole point. That being said, if the devs put the info on their website, then it's on the community to put it on the wiki, if they're so inclined.

That being said, most wikis do still have more content about the workings of the game than the website itself.

Anyway, this is a forum, not even a website :D
City of Titans has no website at the moment. Just a forum with some fixed pages. And, if we would like to be really precise, then TitansCity.com has more information then the (not) existing website... So, a wiki (as a fan website) can have more information than the game website itself... We can play on the words during a long time ^^

I think he meant that you guys could go back and forth with what to call it all day long. English is not his native tongue so bear with him. :)
