Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Well I know that exists.. I just wanted to make something where everyone could throw in what they want from the crafting system to be like, besides I believe the owner of that thread has gone on record saying that he didn't want that thread to become the "Let's argue" of crafting systems and just wanted everyone's opinion on his idea.

My thread is about a specific

My thread is about a specific crafting system, this one is about crafting in general. There are also a lot of other crafting thread that came before mine. There is room for them all on the forums.

And I am fine with people arguing an alternative to the crafting system I suggested, I just did not want it derailed with the unimportant discussion of what to call crafting components.

I would love one where you

I would love one where you don't have to craft a hundred of one item to level up to learn something else. Plans drop off mods or out of lock boxes while on missions, etc. Gathering could be based off what you are crafting. For tech devices could be scavenged off wrecked robots, or tech of some sort, etc. I think as you craft things you should earn crafting xp and general level xp. I love how GW2 does it.

Also, crafting bits to create a whole. Like GW2 and Asta Online where you craft parts of varying quality to create items of varying quality.

I like a lot of different

I like a lot of different aspects of the GW2 system, including the fact that to make a Legendary weapon takes a fair amount of time spent doing events (and which ones makes a difference) and can take several months of real time to actually make a thing. I still haven't even unlocked Legendary crafting yet, and I've been playing GW2 since August 2016. That said, I went for the low hanging fruit of Ascended gear which has the same numeric stats, but not the same cool visual effects.

A lot has been said that alting is a big part of the end game for CoT. For me, I tend to make gearing out my main toon to the absolute nines my end game, and to that end I make a few alts, but not like 20. I get invested in my character concept and want to make the best representation of my character that I can while also making the toon playable. Not necessarily fully optimized in terms of build and power choices, just the best simulation of what I had in mind when I created them. I think if you make the process of acquiring the best, rarest, most powerful Augments and Refinements take a long time and a lot of playing and replaying of DIFFERENT events, content, etc, you can entertain me for a lot longer than if you treated the gear-ramp as a necessary but quick sub-system in the game. GW2 has sub-systems that do this. The different zone maps have a rotating system of "map bonus rewards" that you get for doing events on those maps, and which map gives the best ones changes ever week. Also, they have daily bonuses you can get in a few minutes by doing the jumping puzzle or whatever, which is usually quick.
