So, I just received the survey and I was wondering --
I have separate emails for things like kickstarter versus game sites, i.e. my kickstarter email address is not the same as the one used to register here -- are you expecting people like me to create another account (which is something I'd rather not do)?
This is one of the reasons we're planning to deliver (digital) perks and account fulfillment and any other similar things as serial codes, so you can unlock them on your game account, no matter what email you used to register for the kickstarter.
Or give them away to your loved one.
Or your hated one.
Or just throw them at people like lawn darts.
It's something we planned for once we decided on Dynamic Duo, because you wouldn't want both accounts tied to your one email and operating off one global.
Does this clear everything up? Thanks for asking.

I went to the Dynamic Duo level but did not receive a survey. I didn't buy any of the add-on swag though. Did I miss an email or will the Dynamic Duo stuff come later when we're prepped for launch?

"This very Friday, we're sending our first Kickstarter Survey out. We made it ourselves. Well, with some help from a commercial shopping cart. "
Is it Friday ?
Not sure if you're due a survey, but I haven't had mine yet (and purchased add-ons) and wasn't expecting it till tomorrow.

Ok, got my "survey" but I'm confused. It talks about my shopping cart but I don't see where to find that. It sounds like you can drop done perks that came with pledge levels and use the value to buy other stuff but I see no way to do that.
Not sure if I'm misunderstanding, missing the obvious or it's just not 100% ready to use yet.
Also, stuff like lanyard (fir example) is included in my tier yet I see no evidence in this that I get one without spending some of the money over my tier that I pledged?
---
Not quite normal...
Update - it seems like the shopping cart appeared after I added stuff to it, don't think the thing was on top left before then...
Still confused on dropping things that came with tier to use credit for other stuff, I cannot figure that at all.
---
Not quite normal...
I got something, but it's not the survey, I think. It says that my account should be set up shortly, and has the right amount of credit (pledge amount minus cost of the tier I selected), but doesn't give my temp password, or look like the sample message in the KS update #61. I'll be watching my email this weekend ^_^

That's what I got. You can go to the site and use the forgot my password option...

Not quite normal...
It's very possible the opening letter got eaten by a spam filter - that's part of why we sent out the KS Update.
Go ahead and use the Forgot My Password option on the form.

To be precise: as is in the KS update #61, go to http://perks.cityoftitans.com/index.php?main_page=login and use the forgot my pw option

(double checks spam filters, both client-side and with ISP) Nope, not there, though I may have accidentally cleared the junk file last night (a fairly high probability). No matter, the replacement password worked.
Unfortunately, I don't have the credit for the tier-related perks. Just the amount over the tier.

And judging from the comments on the Kickstarter Update 61 Page, MWM is aware of that problem already and is working on it.
I'm going to go ahead and place the order for my non-tier perks, so you'll have the info on those, at least. ^_^

We are. There was a slight... technical difficulty. The money to fix that should be added tonight if all goes well.
Project Lead
It appears that something might be amiss with my survey and account. I've checked the emails and my "spam" buffer, and have no survey mail. What's there are two identical emails notifying me that my perk "gift voucher credit" is being set up and will be ready shortly.
I used the "password recovery" to log into the perk store, and found the amount of "perk dollars" listed there is drastically different (much, much less) than the amount given in the two "gift voucher" emails. The amount listed also looks too low to be the "included perks" for my pledge level (Key to the City).
Perhaps I'm just misunderstanding the situation. Or perhaps some attention is necessary.

We grow not old, so long as we continue to chase our dreams!
I had the incorrect amount in my account also, but I sent an e-mail off to KSPerks@missingworldsmedia.com and got a reply back in about 90 minutes, a half hour later the account had the correct dollar amount.
If you have problems send an e-mail to KSPerks@missingworldsmedia.com and supply the info that Joel Aelwyn asked for in the Update # 61 comments and they'll fix it, and it happened very quickly for me.
Let me just Quote Joel:
Thanks for the quick response you lovely people at MWM!
We're checking the situation. Can you PM me the email address you used for the kickstarter?

Eislor's solution will also work.
Project Lead
Last night I got two emails, the first said I'd be getting $(perk cost) credit based on my perk level, the second was identical to the one I got Friday afternoon that said I got $(pledge amount minus perk level chosen). The latter seems to have been redundant email, as I just checked my account, and I now have total credit equal to the cost of the perk level perks plus what I hadn't yet spent of the amount credited Friday ( see Phoenix Rising. If I add back in the value of Order #42, I get just what I should have. So I'm good, I just need to decide what to do with the rest of my credit ^_^

I've gotten 4 emails so far stating my account is being set up.
I've replied to the 4th, so hopefully things get straightened out shortly.
Streaming Classic Rock, Beyond, and Before, 24/7 on Paragon Radio Gallifrey.
I logged into both of my accounts yesterday. They both had the correct amounts, I selected my perks, and got confirmation e-mails that my choices had been selected. Today I got another set of e-mails telling me to select my perks.
I just checked both accounts, and although both sets of of orders are still there, they show today's date, rather than yesterdays. In addition, one of the accounts now has a $610 credit that does not belong there. I'll send an e-mail with the account details, but you may want to double-check any manual account corrections that you made in the last 24 hours...
Assuming the correct amount appears in my account, am I required to buy the perks that were supposed to come with my support level, or can I just use the money credited to buy whatever perks I want at this point?
R.S.O. of Phoenix Rising
Potato-Girl, you don't need to reply to this if you don't want to, but did either of your accounts go for a high value package ? $610 sounds like the perks packaged in with one of those, you don't actually have to select exactly what was bundled in according to the KS, and can I believe select different stuff if you want. If you didn't, then it's probably somebody else's who did.

I pledged $575 total, selecting the Fly Free perk level, plus $500 for Mogul. I've gotten two identical emails, saying my account should be set up shortly and credited with $500. Is this right, or should it be the whole $575?
My understanding is that it should be 500, only the extras, at least that's how mine was.

Thanks Minotaur, I hope you're right because I just did my perks and I "called an audible" on some of it. Less physical swag, more digital. Also, for the record, the $610 I got was the correct amount for my support level (Fashionista) as far as I could tell.
The Fashionista perks were supposed to be this:
Everything is Better in Plaid $300
Iconic $150
It Must be a Sign $ 50
Instant Sidekick $ 30
Phoenix Pet $ 30
T-Shirt $ 25
Mousepad $ 15
Lanyard $ 10
Which totals $610, but I pledged an extra $5 and ended up re-working the whole thing. I dropped the Mousepad, Lanyard, and Instant Sidekick in favor of a BFF for $50 and the Music for $10.
Also, I recommend people keep a close eye on that "physical address" thing. I had to change it a couple of times after bumping around through the cart and checkout a few times while changing my mind, etc.
If you're like me and you've logged in more than once in the last few days, be aware that it doesn't default to your address that you entered the first time. That address is an option on a list of saved addresses your account has as options, but you have to select it, it does not become the default, or at least it didn't for me just now.
R.S.O. of Phoenix Rising
Shopping cart is unable to change quantity for "Agent" because quantity in cart page (http://perks.cityoftitans.com/index.php?main_page=shopping_cart) is not an editable text box. Had to add it twice.
Also, I am confused by the "gift certificate" balance (which I assume is supposed to be the overage from the KickStarter). I pledged $1790 at the $1500 level and expect to see $290 available (which is going to 1 BFF, 2 Agent, 1 handcrafted badge, 1 baseball cap, and 1 Music to Annoy Citizens By). I got four emails saying my account was set up that said I had a credit of $290 (right), plus one that said I had $110 credited (wut), and the system says I have $400 ($290 + $110, wut[sup]2[/sup]). What is going on...?
Anyway, order submitted and I've allegedly got $110 credit.
Has anyone seen my mind? It was right here...
Just so I understand, you can only buy up to the amount you have on credit and not above paying the extra with a credit card, right?
Sounds like I was lucky, getting mine corrected on the first retry ^_^
Now my only problem is that I didn't notice that changing the billing address didn't change the shipping address when I placed the order for the perk-level items. I've since set my address as primary, and deleted the default address, but the default is still listed as shipping address. I should've taken Radiac's advice. Now I have to take Eislor's. ^_^

At least not yet. This is likely just the bare bone beginnings of a full "cash store" that'll accept new payments sometime in the future after they've taken care of all the initial Kickstarter pledges.

I made the same call. It seemed like the most logical way to interpret the #61 update instruction, plus what credit was showing in my account. At least for now this seems correct.
Please let me know if I need to submit a help ticket with MWM to get this strait if I am wrong.
Thanks
Lin, your Double Trouble comes with the following free items: T-shirt ($25), Lanyard ($10), Mouse Pad ($15), Phoenix pet ($30), and Instant Sidekick ($30). BUT the way it works is you still have to buy them on the Perks Redemption website, that's why they gave you the extra $110 (25+10+15+30+30=110), so you could buy your "free" perks. So use you "extra" credit to get your "free" perks.
OK, I think understand my new perk totals now. If you generate perk totals in similar manner in the future, you may want to spell out to the backers in your notification e-mail exactly how their perk total was calculated...
Ok, just how do I find out what my password is? It asks for email address and password. I used the "forgot my password" option to send a new password to my email, but so far nothing, no new password.
Never mind, the email was just late. I took care of things, and blew my $500 surplus on Mogul. My own Skyscraper, here I come!
Concur.

Yeah I used the "forgot my password" button to get mine done too. It wasn't too hard to do, but it wasn't totally intuitive either and I could see where it might stump a few people if there's no other obvious way to get your initial password.
Yeah this could have been handled better. But then again this'll probably be the only time things are like this because there's only going to be the one initial Kickstarter. Any fundraising that'll happen in the future will likely be more straightforward.

Since one of my perks was the embroidered badge do we have to state in the order comments what I want on the badge or will another survey be sent out for the personalized items?
Knitting while waiting for THE Beta
Pretty sure this first survey was just to itemize what you wanted for purposes of ordering/shipping. The next survey(s) will then ask you for the personalization details, like what you want on your badge.

That's about right, though they may just be individual emails for the badges.

Okay I wondering about something here. I got the Email Your account should be set up shortly. It will be credited with $ 25 in gift voucher credit. Once the account is active you will not need to do anything else to begin using the credit. Yet to see one that says the account is active.
Didn't think I deleted it by mistake just want to double check.

DONE! :)

It worked nicely, after I read this forum to find out that I could get my password from the "forgot password" box. Only issue I found is that the physical address only allows 2 or more letters for the first name. My name is just the letter "T". One letter... : ( Fortunately, it accepted "T-". I only had digital perks, so not a real issue for me, yet). Nice work setting up a store in a short time, and going this far just for the perk survey (and future stuff too). I'm impressed by having a working store this early into the game development.
