Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Kickstarter account ban

Just thought i'd let people know that apparently posting links on a kickstarter project you are backing that refer to another Kickstarter project you are backing is considered as spam and will result in your account being locked and your posts with links in being deleted.

I find it disappointing because I only posted 1 link on 3 projects I was backing, all three of them had a superhero/gaming theme, so I thought it would interest them. My definition of spam may be outdated, but I didn't think a single post on 1 page could be considered spam. Irrespective, I have obviously been a naughty boy and didn't comply with their T&C's.

What is amusing is that I found out about this project via a link on another KS, so I possibly wouldn't even be here if the individual hadn't posted it.

Anyway, just in case anyone else makes the same mistake I though ti'd post this here for info.

It's a slippery slope.

It's a slippery slope.
The problem is when someone goes
"Oh I will back that INSTEAD of the kickstarter I am on."
Where you went
"Oh I will back that AND the kickstarter I am on."

wow that sucks... as a

wow that sucks... as a backer of another project I would have LOVED to read about similar projects , Kickstarter should get their act together and at least cross promote for similar projects :\ like "If you liked ______ then you should check out ______"
such a shame...sorry to hear that happened to you.

Kickstarter allows project

Kickstarter allows project creators to promote other projects on their updates. They just don't want to allow pledgers to do so. Otherwise they would soon have people pledging $1 to a project just so they could spam the comments section trying to get the people there over to a different project.

The thing is, it happens all

The thing is, it happens all of the time. Usually nobody minds, so either someone was very cranky when OP did it, or there's more to this story than we've been given.

Yeah it's against the rules.

Yeah it's against the rules.

Many find it a bit uncouth to go to a project page to promote a different project. And of course you have those that would take advantage and spam. And of course you didn't mean nothing by it, but how would people feel if someone posted a link promoting say, a game project being crowd funded by NCSOFT on the city of titan page? I would imagine not many would appreciate that and probably would report it.

But the laws are not made to punish people who don't mean any harm. It's to prevent those that always seem to take it too far and the people that don't mean any harm simply get caught in the cross fire.

yeah, it probably was a case of "hey is another interesting game that may be of interest" when it can be misconstrued, misinterpreted, or a misapplied meaning of you saying on the project's home turf "You all should back this linked project one instead of this one."
