Interviewer (IV): "Good afternoon ms. LoveTap, how are you doing this afternoon?"

LoveTap(LT): "Oh uh...great...im great...wait was this an interview question?"

IV: "No. Relax kid I'm just going to ask a few questions on the record to help the city get a better feel for our young heroes...Okay so. As a teen hero how do you balance your social life, school and hero work?"

LT: "Oh uh...well I don't really have a social life...I have a job, I go to school, and I patrol at night..on the weekends I normally train and patrol."

IV: "How does it feel being a teenager with no social life? I thought all teenage girls liked going to the mall and talking about boys."

LT: "Oh uh no no...malls are terrible. You try being able to feel everyone's emotions and hear all their thoughts and be crammed into a large building with a few hundred people all irritated at high prices or overly excited over sales. As for boys? I don't have time for that kind of stuff...rather be out saving the world one purse snatcher and thug at a time."

IV: "Sounds pretty lonely...lets move on. What are your powers exactly?"

LT: "Im a telepathic empath and have the ability to manipulate Kinetic energy."

IV: "So what does that entail exactly?"

LT: "At range I can feel peoples emotions and hear their thoughts...I can also talk to people in their minds but I kinda feel that gets creepy so I try to avoid doing it. If I can touch a person I can actually manipulate their thoughts and feelings...its really useful when you need to calm down a victim who needs to give a statement."

IV: "And the kinetic manipulation thing?"

LT: "Uh...that ones a bit harder to explain...basically kinetic energy is the energy formed by movement...In physics, the kinetic energy of an object is the energy that it possesses due to its motion. It is defined as the work needed to accelerate a body of a given mass from rest to its stated velocity...so the faster I move and the longer I move the more kinetic energy I build up which I can use to hit harder, run faster, or jump farther...also helps when being hit by blunt objects since I can absorb the kinetic energy built up from the hit and reduce MOST of the hit."

IV: "Sounds like a big league power! What are you doing cleaning streets?"

LT: "Well...I mean it sounds great on paper but in actuality it takes a LOT of energy to pull off. On an average day I need to eat at least twelve thousand calories and drink near constantly when I'm training. If I'm not careful I can crash hard...low blood sugar, dehydration, fatigue...the whole nine yards. Also..my brain and eyes can't keep up with my speed unless I have my goggles on...which results in me running into objects. Also if i build up to much kinetic energy....I'm basically a ticking time bomb before the energy has to be released in a pulse around me...which normally causes me to pass out."

IV: "eesh...sounds like a lot of negatives. You said it would pulse around you...can you focus your energy forward?"

LT: "Sometimes...but it takes a good bit of focus and doesn't always work how I want....I call it my arm cannon move...name still pending."

IV: "Yea might want to work on that name. Moving on. What made you want to become a superhero?"

LT: "I'm adopted...but my mom says that my biological parents were superheroes like me...so I wanted to honor them. I mean I doubt I'll ever be as great as them...they were up there in the big boy league's...I can't give their names since that could lead some bad people back to my parents."

IV: "Understandable. Being a telepath...what advise can you give our readers to avoid having their minds read?"

LT: "Uh...I don't know about other people but I generally just sing the baby shark song..."

IV: "....baby shark song....?"

LT: "yea that song that goes "Dun dun...dun dun..dundundun....Baby shark, doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo doo.
Baby shark, doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo doo.
Baby shark, doo do-"

IV: "OKAY...uh...that's weird but whatever works I guess. You said earlier than you can't go to malls because of all the thoughts and emotions...how do you handle working and going to school with that stress?"

LT: "For the most part I can focus hard enough on my work tasks and my school work to block it out....when I can't I have ways of getting out of both when I need a break from all the noise."

IV: "Next question: Why LoveTap?"

LT: "Well...to manipulate emotions I need to be able to touch people...in a hostile situation normally it's just a tap. Also...my hits get stronger the more I'm hit...so the concept of 'share the love' amused me...creating LoveTap."

IV: "Adorable...final question: Do you consider yourself a danger to the general public?"

LT: "No. I'm extremely careful to keep my kinetic build up in manageable levels to avoid popping. When I run....at a certain point my energy build up matches my energy output so I never top out..."
