As people are finalizing their decisions on Kickstarter today about the various add-ons etc. people are choosing, I'm very curious to see what people are thinking of creating for their badges, lethal weapons, costume patterns, Mogul Buildings, "I Know a Guy" and Immortalized Characters...
Here are things I'm thinking of:

I actually don't know what I want to do for this and would like to hear other people's ideas.
[b]Lethal Weapon:[/b]
I want to create with the artists a floating third eye that directs animations of Defender-style powers (debuffs etc.), preferably powers similar to the Dark Defender primary set. I envision it looking like the "Eye of Agamotto" from Dr. Strange, and would like to see what auras could combine with it to make it a kind of glowing eye.
[b]Costume Patterns:[/b]
I'd like to see what they already have planned to know what I'm going to do here. I feel like COH didn't have as many tech/robot patterns as I'd like to have available, so maybe helping there would be good. But I usually play magic based characters, so I may end up creating a pattern that fits a warlock very nicely!
[b]Mogul Buildings:[/b]
The Damien Starr Tower: This enigmatic tower (if COT artists are willing to take suggestions for architectural styles of the mogul buildings), will look like the Walter Scott Tower of Edinburgh, Scotland. Damien Starr, otherwise known to the world as Red Warlock, is the leader of a mystic order that built the tower over a hundred years ago. More story coming. Here's a link to the Walter Scott Tower:

"The Dead Horseman" knows the history of the Order of the Warlocks in Titan City, and depending on how much we can work with artists on the mission our contacts share, he will introduce a mission that introduces Red Warlock and his nemesis, The Shadow Warlock.
[b]Immortalized Statue:[/b]
Red Warlock. I would love to see my hero from COH that I will be bringing back to life in Titan City immortalized there. I'd love to see some of the other Kickstarter heroes immortalized there too...

Hm. I could see "you stole my idea" being a possible issue with Mogul or an emblem or maybe even geocacher - but for all the rest of the art options? If someone gets there first, well, yay, I can make something else! ...Might be annoying if they didn't want to share, but hey, those parts won't stay exclusive forever.
As for badge ideas: The obvious answer, if you've got no better notions, is to combine this with your Mogul perk, and make an exploration badge that says a bit about your home building.
For my notions... I'm holding off on trying to worry about the details, because right now it's still not entirely clear exactly what I'm getting for my pledge level - which, honestly, doesn't bother me that much; even under the most restrictive assumptions, I can still get what I want. Less restrictive assumptions just give me more room to make the costume creator more awesome for everyone. (Edit: Plus, they've made it pretty clear that some of the ambiguity is just "We don't know exactly how far we can push the game engine yet and don't want to make promises we can't keep", which is really rather the right way to go about this. So no complaints there.)
However, at a minimum, I'm going to make sure that a proper lizard-y snout piece is available for everyone - this will be a costume component that fits over the nose and mouth of a human-shaped head. You could do something like this in both CoH and CO, but since the only such pieces they had were tech-based gas mask-y things, you had to make your skin color pitch black to hide all the seams. Hopefully I'll be able to get several options for textures; things like: no teeth showing, fangs, tusks, single fang left/right, single tusk left/right, alligator, t-rex overbite, turtle beak, maybe a tech / cyborg variant or two... but, uh, I'm really not in a position to guarantee more than one texture.
Phoenix Rising Token Minidragon
I will be doing the Geocacher and Mogul. I was just pointed to the kickstarter a few days ago and haven't been keeping track of the Pheonix Project since last year, so I am still familiarizing myself with everything that's going on.
If the city has a business/financial district, I think I would like to have my building be a luxury hotel catering to visiting businessmen. I have not thought about specific architecture or name yet, but I am hoping a rooftop pool will be possible, with my geocaching badge location in the pool .
@ Wvern: I'm happy there will be a lizard-snout piece available. Thanks for planning to make that, I think that will be fun!
@ 7th Gate: I hope to visit you in your luxury hotel sometime. Maybe when it comes together you can take some of us here on a tour!
@ Lin Chiao Fang: I just think it's fun to daydream about what we might do with the perks/add-ons, but I know the devs are going to give us more specific parameters later that might limit what we are daydreaming about now. Also, about "stealing ideas", I can see how that might be a concern for some people. For me, even if my favorite idea I want to see implemented, (a lethal weapon that is a floating eye like Dr. Strange's), if that were to be 'stolen' by someone who also liked that idea, it would mean that we probably would create two different versions of an idea I love. It could be a bright glowing eye version; a smoking fiery eye version; an eye within a pyramid similar to the Egyptian image on the dollar sign; an eye with red lightning coming out of it... There could be many versions of floating eyes if there were others who wanted to use that idea, like a 'floating eye' set for magic users... Anyway, for me, I think the more creativity we share, the more we all can come up with great ideas together to make fun additions to the game.
