I hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving

Mine was a blast. Just the family.
I went and got a prepared ham yesterday morning. The wife made a wonderful turkey. Mashed potatoes , gravy, green bean caserole, we had home made pumpkn pie and pecan pie for desert.
~~ the goal was to have tons of left overs. Half the turkey went to the freezer. This morning I cooked breakfast. I made ham-steak, eggs and cheesy hash browns.

Great Day. The wife planned on shopping but got tuckered out, so we're all just hanging out being quiet (lazy) today.

I hope the rest of your weekend will be as wonderful as mine is!

My plans to visit my family

My plans to visit my family were canceled due to inclement weather and I had to work today (Fri). This probably sounds like a bummer, but not really. Instead of hitting the highway under snowy driving conditions, I got to stay in my cozy home and relax. And even though I had to work, it was triple-pay due to working on a day that's normally a scheduled holiday. All in all, it could have been a lot worse.
