Besides, I don't really care about hunting rogues. It's the ones like Dross that infuriate me. Perhaps we'll bury him together once the stage opens. ((Shadow's campaign may be technically good but he's vigilante, believe it. There's a dark drive to his crusade. He kills, not captures. Elijah Kincaid's cold, blue eyes gazed over his hawkish nose, angled from being on the wrong end of one too many barfights. He tried to stay silent in his little corner, happy to observe, rather than join in, on the pageantry. He smoothed the sleeve of his trenchcoat down, ensuring the ash-colored iron bracer on his right forearm was covered, along with the hundreds of small demonic runes overlaid across it's surface.
A high pitched giggle rattled telepathically through his mind. "That one, Kincaid... let us feast on that one..." The being mentally nudged his attention towards Warsmith. "I would love to see his definition of 'propriety' change after I do my cover of a Cannibal Corpse song with his soul..." The giggle continued with a mixture of anticipation and depravity.

A quiet, velvet, female purr slid into Elijah's mind and silenced the giggle. "Do mind your manners, Iguiposit. Besides, we all know you have no taste, imp.” The giggle faded, but the female presence continued. “Give us that one, Elijah... the Shepherd. I'll show him why mortals are so easy to prey upon. Too… many… desires…" The moan turned into a needy whine. “Oh, manners be damned! One... just one night with him... one night and he'll beg me never to let him leave Hell..."

The warlock was about to speak before his hand shot up to cover his forehead, as if a splitting headache had erupted through it. Her radiant and toned brown hair would cascade down her back, her face, beautiful and fair, would be partly hidden away by a domino mask over her eyes, which glow a mix of golden and white with power.
The woman, known by heroes and villains alike as Lady Nova, would walk towards the gathered group, before musing in a tranquil yet powerful tone, "Greetings Warsmith, Retribution, is there a problem here?"

The runes on his bracers began to glow as claws made out of spiritual energy appeared on his hands. Shepherd stared at his claws. he was still getting used to these new weapons. He began to think about the woman he loved who was also his arch rival. a female vampire from his earth. He then created a rose out of the same blue spiritual energy that made his eyes glow and gave him his powers. He stared at it for a while as he sighed. They were two sides of the same coin, but it was a forbidden love that could never be. It was the reason he began traveling the different alternate universes. To get away from his past.

Traveling deep into yet another galaxy, I came across an odd, yet quaint system. So much alike to my home but with interesting differences. Even before entering the system proper I had detected the rhythms from deeper within. Here then was something quite unexpected as a constant bombardment of radiation was emanating from a relatively young sun, no more than 4 billion years as reckoned from the orbiting of its 3 planet. And, it is that 3rd planet, or rather its radiation, that caught my attention. Everything from infrared to gamma and beyond, all broadcasting from this small orb. Stopping just beyond the planet proper, I met the acquaintance of its single satellite. "Greetings, for I am Kaxiya" I proclaimed, unsure of the proper form, but not wanting to offend. She introduced herself as Luna, named she said, after local tradition. She is a pleasant, caring soul, who loves her neighbor, Earth, and tolerates her children. For it seems it is they who are creating the radiations which drew me here. So, Intrigued, I study these children, these "Humans", while I avail myself of Luna's hospitality...

The argument in his mind began to escalate as yet more superhumans came into the area, the demonic entities arguing over who they wanted to eat first and why. Kincaid muttered quietly, "Just shut up, Grissh’niak... all of you just shut up. Give me peace and you'll eat..." He pushed himself away from the wall he was leaning on, as if he'd slept too long... or not at all. His blue eyes were now dull as he wandered out and down the street searching for a dark alley, and the first poor dope fiend, prostitute, or petty thief that got in his way.
There was always a price for having peace of mind. Unfortunately for Elijah Kincaid, he just had to pay a helluva lot more for it than other folks.

First I know I'm ugly so stop staring. Names Ron Bolton I have no need for secret identities can't really hide the fact I'm undead. Not that sparkly vampire type undead I'm in the Zombie class of supernaturals. Well more of a Mummy but if any of you villains out there make a Mommy joke I'm going to eat your throat. My body absorbs all bio-mater that's enters it and converts it nearly instantly to magical energy used to keep me moving. As well as repairing damage and thinking in that order. The more damage my body takes the less Magical forces there is to keep me going so the dumber I become until I'm a mindless husk seeking meat of any kind. So yeah I don't take unneeded risks.
Basic facts my skin is tough as leather my muscles have become harden giving me a boost in physical strength . As I said my body absorbs any bio-mater that enters it so I'm always hungry.
Why am I like this? Well I was a grunt in an army and then a vet finding out he was jobless and soon to be homeless. The Job was simple brake in to some collectors house and take some old things. Me and two other guys were surprised when the guy came home early. About that time I picked up some orb that had moving letters of some kind runes I think. I could almost read them but when the old guy opened the door I dropped it and a blast of light burning and darkness was all I remembered till I woke up in the Morgue ice box.
I had two choices be a monster or use what I got to fight the good fight once again. Well it came down to this if I could ever die really die for good it be because some super villain got so pissed off at me they find a way. Well I don't want to spend eternity as a corpse so I'm a Hero. So Mr. Villain give me you best shot. The worst you can do is free me from this living death nightmare.
