So I recently saw an update from Ship Of Heroes where they were addressing the issue of if they will be including trash, dirt, and other non-hygienic things on the ship. What I got from the update was that since its indoors, it really wont have stuff like that but they may include other things.
I figured this was a great topic to bring up here as I didn't see this was discussed before and it made me wonder if COT is thinking about this as well? Of course its not highly important and I don't think the game should be delayed for it, but it would add another layer of realism to the city.
I don't quite remember if COT had this or not. I know they had trash cans but I don't recall if there were stains on the ground, empty cups lying around, and other such things.
So what im wondering is if the devs have thought about maybe adding a little dirt to the equation?

I hope you can see from our Halloween poster, we plan on being realistic with the amount of dirt and grime expected in a modern metropolitan area:

When I saw the title I thought this thread was going to be a question about the T for Teen rating. :-)
I assume the level of grime etc will vary by neighbourhood, street type, etc.
Spurn all ye kindle.
Every time I see an update from the CoT devs I am impressed with how complete and professional the game looks compared to the other CoH revival projects.
I would expect the less reputable areas to be closer to things like Marconeville and almost the entirety of Original Mercy Island (before the revamp with Freedom) and the nicer ones to be like Atlas Park and Steel Canyon.

Always up for more dirt. Nobody wants a clean city, let’s be honest ????

Hot town, summer in the city
Back of my neck getting dirty and gritty
Been down, isn't it a pity
Doesn't seem to be a shadow in the city
All around, people looking half-dead
Walking on the sidewalk, hotter than a match head
Of course in Titan City, the people might literally be half-dead, or blazing with fire.
Take me down to Paragon City, where the streets are mean and the heroes are witty.
"Let the past die. Kill it if you have to."
But at night it’s a different world... maybe they will have night time evil to fight that doesn’t come out in daylight... I’m thinking vampires and other walking dead types!
"A sad spectacle. If they be inhabited, what a scope for misery and folly. If they be not inhabited, what a waste of space." ~ Thomas Carlyle
The sirens are screamin’ and the fires are howlin’ way down in the valley tonight! There’s a man in the shadows with a gun in his eye and a blade shinin’ oh-so-bright! There’s evil in the air and thunder in the sky and a killer on the blood-shot streets! Oh and down in the tunnel where the deadly are risin’ oh I swear I saw a young boy down in the gutter he was startin’ to foam in the heat!
