I understand [u]this will not likely be available at launch.[/u] I can wait, that's fine. Get the basic game done first, then focus on quality of life issues.
but when you are ready we will need the standard transformations old COH had...BUT there needs to be a few just exploding with power and drama! Like this one with energy, lightning, and even sound effects.
in short I want a transformation that screams: POWER.
Of course, this little bit of vanity deserves a place in the game store...but it will be worth it!
I can see the other transformations...fine. WW twirl, the He-Man sword lightning thing, but when I transform I want the crackle of lightning, the explosion of sheer power....and the other heroes feeling inadequate that they didn't spend a few bucks at the store,

Hopefully we can get magical girl transformation poses as emotes so people can string a bunch of them together in a macro ending in a costume change emote.
Edit: And perhaps various power up emotes so someone can do that then have their explosive transformation into their super self.

This sounds like the best solution as it would be highly customizable. Or whatever the word is, google says that isn't a word, customizable.

By the time CoH was shutdown it had well over 50+ costume change emotes. Some were quicker and/or more grandiose than others. I'd have no problem with there being at least a handful of them in CoT that are more "convoluted" than most, even if that mean's having a minute long copy-cat Sailor Moon style sequence. If you're silly enough to fire that off in a PUG team that doesn't want to wait around for that to finish that's you problem, not the game's. *shrugs*

I would like to have this at launch to be perfectly honest. Not all of them obviously. That old dinosaur CoH just had everything you could ever want in an mmo it seems. Usually the new gen surpasses the old gen, but CoH still reigns in terms of components. DCUO, CO, I am talking to you.
