Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Helpful for non-artistic character creators

So I create characters all the time but I have zero drawing skills. Something that has helped me to visualize and design costumes (which are as important as anything for superhero and villains) is Heromachine. Here’s a link: http://www.heromachine.com/heromachine-3-lab/

It takes a while to figure out just how much you can do with this tool, but after some practice you can make some pretty cool things.

Here’s some of my characters (for my own comic universe) I designed with Heromachine.

... and I just wanted to take

... and I just wanted to take a quick look. That thing eats HOURS even for so called "simple" costumes! oO

Not a unique creation but rather re-creation of earths mightiest hero (and yeah, massively better that what I could do with a pen) ;)

edit: included the image in the post. no idea why I had not done it before

edit2: That was just an edit by adding the img tag and an edit reason; no idea why it rewrote its post date to today and catapulted it upwards oO

Thanks for the link. :)

I'm pretty much in the same boat; I've created characters for decades but I have no real drawing skill. Sometimes I use various "famous people" as visual stand-ins for my characters. Like I'll say, "Here's my new character X. He/she looks like actor Y from movie Z." Makes things easy at any rate.

I'm actually hoping in the long run we'll eventually be able to "borrow" the character creator of CoT as a sort of generalized creator like this Heromachine thing.

Mmm, you can use Icon to create characters or re-create them.

Sure but I honestly don't NEED such an app on a daily basis anyway. I'll be happy enough to tinker with CoT's creator once it finally appears.
