Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Greetings!

Greetings!

I would like to bit everyone a hearty hello!

Some of you will remember me from the CoX forums. Unfortunately, when NCSoft announced the shutdown of CoX, I left. I shut down my accounts and stopped playing when this happened. Now, 20+ months later, I find out about City of Titans - (strange for me to call you CoT - that's Circle of Thorns).

I had hoped that after this amount of time, that someone had purchased CoX or gotten a way to run the software as a local game. If such exists, I was unable to find it.

I have high hopes that this new game will exceed the standard placed by CoX. If it does, I will have no problem supporting it. One of the greatest accomplishments of CoX was the character creator with the ability to adjust your physical size and shape. No game since has even tried to do this.

My favorite class was the Mastermind. This class was very over-powered for Solo PvE ever! However, in a group, it tended to be under-powered as your pets were hard to control and kept dying.

If I had known about The Phoenix Project sooner, I would have pledged to support you in your goal to create a "spiritual" recreation of CoX. Although my funds are limited, if you put up for more donations, I will donate what I can.

I have but one question - when you say expect to release in 2015, when in 2015? January is far better than December.

I look forward to seeing you all in game soon!

Alas, I think January is far

Hello!

Alas, I think January is far less likely than December. :(

While the Kickstarter was on, they were saying "about two years", so November might (possibly) be slightly more likely than December. But recall Cheops' Law. Fortunately, MWM has raised quite a bit more than they figured they'd need, and they have understanding customers who, for the most part, would rather have it done right than "right now".

Welcome, Mageman. I'd also

Welcome, Mageman. I'd also expect to see a "late 2015" rater than early. They've got a LOT to tackle and are just wrapping up pre-production now. I personally expect 2016 to be the case, as production schedules often hit real-world barriers.

As far as I know about CoH, I've heard that others are again making overtures toward NCSoft, but that NCSoft hasn't given any indication of any progress there. In addition to that, there are apparently two separate competing efforts at making a CoH "server emulator"- one is a rather old under-manned effort to make a version of the server as it existed closer to initial launch, and the other is trying to work with the game as it existed on the beta server at shutdown. They've agreed to share what they can between the two, but I've seen little visible traffic from either. After watching the Star Wars Galaxies Emulator take form, this could be a long time in production-- and given that CoH would also have middleware licenses that would have to be negotiated (parts like the marketplace were 3rd party code, IIRC, that would have to be licensed separately or edited out) removed or similarly emulated, I don't anticipate that progress on that front would have tangible results much faster than CoT at this point.
