Which of these would it be easier to create viral media hype out of that negatively impacts the game?
A) CoT actively promotes androgynous characters
B) CoT allows male characters to select the size of their endowment
It doesn't matter if A is actually far more challenging to whatever public we care about (natively English speaking game players and their parents, I'm guessing), B is so much easier to gain widespread viral broadcast retransmission with. With this kind of stuff the spread of the shot is far more damaging than the penetration of the projectile.
I think we've come quite away from pom poms and might be monopolising this thread, so I've started https://cityoftitans.com/forum/golden-bough-or-lack-it
Perhaps move our discussion there?
Only if your middle name is 'Persimmon'?
Even without getting into humans with complicated anatomy, I think the game would benefit from being able to obviously have androids, rock monsters, and such.

Rock monsters may have been a very poor choice of example there, but I'm not responsible for Rod Stone. Humour aside, I think there's a definite benefit to being able to create any shape that doesn't cause problems with underlying systems, such as animations, so as to make characters as distinctive and true to the player's vision as possible.
I'm now explicitly agreeing with Lothic, I always was, but I don't think giving explicit customisation options in these areas is feasible while still having a game that appeals to the entire player base of its original vision.
Was thinking of The Thing :p

Praise be, that's so much better. No cheap innuendo to be had from that clean living Avenger.
While it's nice you've decided to make a whole new thread just for this I doubt I'll join in here too much afterall.
I've been advocating on-again, off-again for these issues against the "thickheaded" amongst us for years and it's clear which way the wind is still blowing on this. As I said I do appreciate the "novel obviousness" that this would further support notions of gender neutralness the Devs have already started with their "no gender locked" costume item policy. I simply doubt it would be enough to convince anyone who matters and ironically even if every Dev magically started to declare this was the "best idea ever" they would still label it a "cosmetic QoL feature" that would be put on the top of the heap of millions of other things that'll be done "after launch".
Even thinking about anatomical correctness makes the likes of Shadow Elusive get all "Ewww, cooties" on us. I can only deal with that kind of raging stupidity in small doses and I guess I'm saying I'm done for the moment. If you guys keep going with this I'll just say "Good luck storming the castle!" and wait until I get motivated again.

At this time, we're going to ask that this topic be allowed to peacefully end both on this thread and others.
Wait until you see the... nope, that would ruin the surprise.
Mention this to Shadow Elusive. After all he started it by mentioning the "infamous sliders" in the first place.
Beyond that I'm willing to let the dogs sleep if Shadow doesn't wake them up again.

Locking thread, as per standard procedure. C'mon, folks, let's keep it Comics Code Approved for now.
