Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Give yourself a -minor- super power

That is the key here: a Minor power. This power has NO combat value. Its useful, but not a major power. No mind control, no invisibility, even flight is mostly nerfed (you can't just take off like Superman).
You can change into a single thing, like a cat...But NOT a lion. Telekinesis limited to 5 pounds or less. Things like that

Remember the power is MINOR. its a small super power, it will not rank up there with the big guys.

Rules,
One) this is not a character...this is YOU. What would you wind up with in a super powered world?
Two) do not repeat a previously stated power.

Cyclops: I would be able to transform into a robin (the little bird). I could not fly faster than a robin, my eyesight would be no better than a raven, and I would be subject to attacks from predators like hawks (and killed by them). The useful part is this transformation would also include any clothes and items I would be wearing.

OK your turn: whats your minor but useful power?

The ability to remember anyone's name after hearing it once.
I like to take your ideas and supersize them. This isn't criticism, it is flattery. I come with nothing but good will and a spirit of team-building. If you take what I write any other way, that is probably just because I wasn't very clear.

Well, I wasn't going for true immortal. Stuck at late teens to mid 20's for the rest of your life. No combat value. Still killable. Can still get sick. 2 point immunity power in M&M. :p

However, if that isn't minor and can't repeat previously stated ones...

Don't know if this counts as

Don't know if this counts as minor, but... limited scrying.

Once a fortnight I could get the real and complete answer to a question, provided it's a question about something that's already happened, and not a hypothetical. The answer comes in word form, no images. Maybe they come out of an antique typewriter that's lost all its keys or maybe I auto-write them on a piece of paper by hand without thinking.

I can't ask how to build something that hasn't been invented yet, or how to escape a situation (it's not an advice column), or "what would be better" (the answers don't have opinions), but I could ask "where's missing flight 555". To solve a crime would generally take a month, because I'd need to ask who, then need to ask where they left evidence, then hope it's still there when followed up on. If a disaster happened just after I used up a question, nothing I can do. If I find out someone that everyone loves is really a terrible criminal, and they didn't leave any evidence, well, nothing I can do.

Ironically, I wouldn't use it to solve crimes or save people, right away. There are questions I personally want answers to that have nothing to do with crime or consequence, and it's my personal questions I'd ask first, which would eat up the first year or so of answers.

If that's still too powerful, then I would make the time in between questions longer, or limit the answer to one page, etc.

I'll go with regeneration so

I'll go with regeneration so low level that it just means I never need a hospital stay. Bones will set themselves and no risk of infection, but the same amount of time to wait time for wounds to heal properly.

An infinite number of tries doesn't mean that any one of those tries will succeed. I could flip an infinite number of pennies an infinite number of times and, barring genuine randomness, they will never come up "Waffles".

Precognition limited to 5

Precognition limited to 5 minutes ahead of present and with a limited frequency. Like maybe once a day or something. Really could have used that before a pile up on the freeway a few months back...

Maybe instead of being a full

Maybe instead of being a full blown Warg like in Game of Thrones (where you could actually control other animals/people) I'd have a limited version of that where I could only passively see what another animal/person is currently seeing.

The immediate obvious use of a power like that is to cheat at poker. I'd probably cheat just enough to win enough money to comfortably live on - no reason to be greedy about it.

From there I'm sure over time I could figure out other "entertaining" uses for such a power. ;)

Not really... my idea wouldn't include the "risk" part. ;) I'm not talking about "going into the mind" of another critter as much as just a minor bit of telepathy that would let me receive the signals of the other being's optic nerves and have my brain "see" them as my own. Seems like that would fit the definition of "minor power" as laid out by this thread.

That kind of reminds me of the lactokinetic from Misfits.

He could only move cheese and dairy products with his mind. And he used it to kill, mostly by controlling the lactose in someone's body after they consumed something. There was even a character who would always pop back up after dying, so the lactokinetic caused the cottage cheese from a pizza the guy ate to worm its way through the body and wrap around his brain making him brain-dead (but still alive, so he wouldn't regenerate).

His downfall was someone who was lactose intolerant.
