Hello!
I was simply plumbing interest in a potential revival and recruitment thread for the teen super team Generation Titan or Gen T. Hope to see some of you guys in game at live!
Thanks!

I'm certainly still interested in a potential revival for Generation T! o/
"If I am to die in battle, Remember me for who I was and not what I've become..."
Okay! Maybe an Open RP thread to start things back up?

What do we think about the name Rising Stars or Young Paragons?

I'm biased towards Rising Stars since it offers more individuality than Young Paragons. I feel most groups that go the route of naming themselves Young or Teen [Insert high-profile super-group here], the contemplation of undergoing a rename comes later down the road due to simply outgrowing it; or the group has undergone so much development that they no longer need to be within the shadow of a bigger name team.

I agree, and it seems like a team that could transition to hero works relatively easy and the name wouldn’t have to change.
Where do you think it would be based? And maybe a team member provides the meeting space?

If you're referring to a base, that may be kinda tricky since the southern pennisula of the city won't be in-game at launch, so we're looking at North Titan for now. Probably Old Bradford or even Aurora? Since those areas have a lot of open space for one, and Old Bradford has a few neighborhood that could lend itself as a temporary base. Assuming Downtown and especially Alexandria are going to be major player hubs for people who first log into the game.

Old Brandford could work-maybe a former superhero base for a supergroup no longer active or a that disbanded after Hurricane Atlas?

Yes exactly. Having flown/run around in the game engine in its current state, I could see the Old Bradford area having an old hideout or two that could be used as a start-up possibly.

Ideas for a name?

I'm down, though I'm still dipping my toe back into CoT. I think my name Wanderers was just kinda rando, in hindsight, doesn't make a lot of sense, but oh well... I'm not sure what to offer either, Young something lol
Welcome back!
Attached is some of what I have written out as a skeleton for the group so far: the Rising Stars!
“Together, we shine!”
The Rising Stars organization has a rich and storied history, rooted in the legacy of heroism and sacrifice that defines Titan City. Founded by Andromeda (Dr. Cassandra Reed), a renowned astrophysicist and former superhero, the Rising Stars was established in the aftermath of Hurricane Atlas, a devastating event that claimed the life of Andromeda's protege, Comet, and left Titan City reeling.
Determined to honor Comet's memory and prevent future tragedies like the one that claimed her life, Andromeda resolved to create a sanctuary for young heroes, a place where they could receive mentorship, guidance, and support in their quest to protect the city. With the establishment of the Beacon, a superhero base retrofitted from the old lighthouse off Victory Beach's coastline, Andromeda provided a safe haven for young heroes to train, learn, and grow.
Under Andromeda's leadership, the Rising Stars organization flourished, attracting talented individuals from all walks of life who shared a common desire to make a difference in Titan City. Together, they faced myriad challenges and adversaries, from supervillains and criminal syndicates to natural disasters and cosmic threats.
Throughout its history, the Rising Stars has remained steadfast in its commitment to justice, compassion, and teamwork, embodying the ideals of heroism and selflessness that define the best of Titan City's defenders. With each new generation of recruits, the Rising Stars continues to evolve and adapt, drawing strength from the bonds of friendship and camaraderie that unite its members in their shared mission to protect the city they love.

Welcome, friend! As Gladiatoria posted, the name we settled on was Rising Stars - with the team being a sort of young training/preparation program for Titan City's next generation of heroes.
