(( I'm sorry for it taking so long! finally beginning this thread for us =) This is mostly for/about Wren and Grace, but others should feel free to watch and have fun with it!))
Wren stood in the park waiting for her new friend's arrival. She was in her hero-suit of a light blue and black onesie with its attached skirt, boots and all. Next to her on the lush grass sat a bag full of what looked like childrens' toys and circus gear.
She moved in the slow, controlled motions of t'ai chi ch'uan. There was a sense of unrushed, contained power behind her motions. The feeling of tension and potential simply waiting to be released. Chubby and short she may be, but while practicing, one saw mostly muscle control and grace.
The trees seemed to move with her, swaying as she flowed from one form to the next. Watching her, one could easily imagine grain swaying in rippling waves as wind passed by and through it, or the gentle running of the waves toward and away from a smooth sandy shore. A faint smile on her lips expressed the serene contentment that lay beneath the bubbly personality. This was a person who was at one with herself, untroubled with sorrow, anger, or fear. For these calm moments, this serenity ruled her mind and body, ridding her of all negativity she may have felt before.
Her wings made a beautiful counterpoint to her motions, moving almost as a second pair of arms. The bright blue and tan hiding and then revealing the girl attached to them, the feathers rustling in the breeze almost as if each one were alive.
You see things; and you say, 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say, "Why not?"
George Bernard Shaw (1856 - 1950)
