Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Allison had listened with her cloudy gaze set directly on Nick's somehow, though her chin had lowered. That was... remarkably candid, considering she'd just met the boy. Sonething that'd been prowling around at the edge of her brain, mulled over, starts to come out of her mouth in a very quiet, sincere tone, making her lean across the table a little so he can hear her, barely more than a whisper.
"...You think having powers can't make you stupidly lonely?... That being blind wouldn't do that too?" For some reason-- Jesus, what the Hell is she thinking!-- she slid her hand across the table. It searched for half a moment but found Nick's and squeezed it hard for a second. "My parents are dead because I wasn't there to help them," she whispered, barely audible, her voice a bit husky with emotion.
At the other woman's voice, Allison seems to have come crashing back in on herself, on reality. She lets go of Nick's hand and jerks hers back, coughing a bit in surprise and blushing brilliantly down at her plate. "Not a date--" she manages to hurriedly rush out. She turns her head slightly toward Sabrina, only really able to see her hand clearly where she is writing with a pen. "A-Allison?..." she manages by half-hearted way of introduction.

When Allison said that she was also lonely but it was for a different reason, he had instantly felt terrible. As usual, he hadn't been paying attention to the information right in front of his face. Stupid, stupid--
Her parents were both...dead? It couldn't be because of her, and yet he could tell she felt that way. He felt ashamed, bringing his own problems into this. His voice showed the same, quiet and meek, but sincere, "I'm-I'm so sorry..." When she grasped his hand it would seem to he small, but it would grip faintly back, even if inadvertently.
At Sabrina's interruption, he immediately turns bright red as well, quickly taking a huge bite out of his pizza to avoid speaking. He is seen to hag trouble chewing, making an odd face, but does his best to hide it. Levi, the large robot next to him, speaking with his usual deep but polite rumble for Nick.
"Master Ridley is not on an outing with Miss Allison. If he had known he was on a date he would have asked myself, commonly referred to as 'Levi.' Master Ridley is commonly referred to as 'Nick.' Both he and I send our greetings."
Allison clears her throat again, and digs into the pocket of her worn out, dark blue jeans for her wallet. It's piteously slim, but after feeling the few bills and coins within with her sensitive fingertips, she withdraws enough to pay for what she'd ordered and eaten, lays it out neatly on the edge of the table. She stuffs her wallet quickly back into her pocket, then smiles a little bit.
Her face seems to clear somewhat as she pushes the heavy lock of hair back from her cloudy blue eyes, and she murmurs in a low tone across the table, hopefully just enough for only Nick to hear, "Look... it's okay. I mean, it's not 'okay' okay, but-- it was last year, anyway. It's not exactly a secret or anything... but it's not something I usually shout about."
Allison huffed a small sound of bemusement. "If you-- I dunno-- wanted to go somewhere else, or walk somewhere or something after you're done... I wouldn't mind." It's a really simple offer, nothing suspicious or underlying about her very quiet tone. She rubs the back of her neck and adds with a bit more amusement in her tone, chains clinking somewhat, "...It's sort of hard to keep any friends when I'm all, 'Hi, I'm Allison, my parents are dead and it's totally my fault'... ...Sorry about that..."

Sabrina's face darkens as Allison casually mentions her parent's death, regaining her composure within seconds but a clear brief look of internal sadness is seen, but a visage of concern never fades as she replies...
"Allison, I can't even imagine...I am truly sorry for your loss." Her tone is genuine, but she cannot help but smirk at Nick's blush and Levi's words, not tastefully of course, but it's clear she has a wry streak as she comments...
"Hello Nick, Levi, I'm sure you'd make the perfect wingsutomaton?" Offers a small smile.

Nick finally finishes the large bight of pizza, responding to Allison quietly, "No, it's fine...my dad died when I was seven. I don't exactly shout it out either. And we can leave whenever you like. I wasn't hungry anyway."
Levi replies to Sabrina, "That title pleases me. Master Ridley, may I be hereafter referred to as 'Levi, the Wingautomaton'?"
Nick snorts ungracefully at this question, a sound of laughter. "I'll consider it, Levi. I like the ring to it."
He then looks to Sabrina, trying to appear as unnoticeable as possible, hoping she does not recognize him. His father had been the head of one of the most successful companies in the City. And he had taken his place. He told himself, silently, that's Nick Burnton, no one will recognize Nick Ridley. No one even knows Candlelight is run by a CEO. He attempts to appear citizenly.
Allison shrugs a little at Sabrina with an ensuing, pleasant clatter and clink of the chains at her neck and shoulder. Her gaze doesn't quite land on the other woman as she says blandly, "...Thanks. I mean, it was awhile ago now, so--..." She trails off again, giving a second little shrug.
She turns a little smile, tentative, but empathetic and surprisingly spot-on, to Nick, saying somewhat cryptically, "...Yeah, I thought something bad like that maybe happened to you, too."
Allison slides over a bit, and gets up out of her seat. Stretching a little bit and setting her tank-top to rights, she beckons with a motion of her head, "...Come on. We'll go to the docks at Ironport or something. Don't worry-- I won't let you fall in."
Seeming to sense the boy wanting to remain as much of an anonymous force as she herself does, she waits to see if Nick will get up and come with her. In the mean time, she smiles a bit at Sabrina, apologizing, "Sorry to get out of here so quick, ma'am. But that's a cool word, and a cool-- if pretty long-- nickname for Levi. I like it."

Nick promptly follows Allison, grateful for the escape. He wasn't quite in the mood for questions being fired at him. He says with an apologetic smile to Sabrina, "I'm sorry too. But it was nice meeting you."
Levi has more trouble exitting the booth. The edge if the table breaks off as he leaves it, and he looks down at it, as if regretful of even sitting there in the first place. Nick promptly pulls out a wallet places a decent amount of money on the table, picking up it's corner and placing it on top of it's greater whole.
He pats Levi on the arm, "It's alright, just leave it. It was an accident."
Levi merely nods solemnly, remaining silent.
Nick blows a tuft of hair out of his eyes, looking to Alli. He says quietly but with a wry tone, attempting not to sound rude, "If I fall in the ocean, you better be able to swim."
Allison actually laughs a little at that, moving with confidence toward the metal-lined door. She-- holds it gallantly open for the males, having gotten the handle on the first try, and says somewhat ironically, "...As weird as it is, considering, well..." she gestures briefly to her face, "...I can, in fact, swim."
As the shop bell rings on their exit, she takes up stride between Nick and Levi if they'd let her, feeling safer in her steps with Levi's 'visual' clarity on one side, and the rapidly familiarizing feel of Nick's 'field' on the other, trusting them not to lead her astray.
Before they get too far, Allison takes a length of cloth out of her pocket. Perhaps two inches wide, it looks like it was ripped from a black shirt of some kind... She wraps this once, around her face, covering her eyes and circling it underneath her hair, then a second time, making a vague "X" of cloth across her eyes and tying it off behind her head under her hair. "...I'm pretty recognizable anyway, but this makes me feel at least a little bit better about, you know... being anonymous," she explains, feeling silly. "I guess maybe it's sort of like putting headphones on-- shuts some of the world out, though I can 'see' through it anyway..."
Finding it hard to describe, she grows shyly quiet again, letting herself be taken toward the docks at Ironport.

Sabrina nods at the unorthodox if not amusing trio as they depart, not before offering a small smile to Nick, but keeping silent; simply put it wasn't her business. With that in mind she returns to typing on her tablet, relaxing with a basket of garlic knots...

It was midnight but Ray's was still open Shepherd entered with his new allies..

The two young women were sitting at the table in Ray's sharing a pizza and laughing about thier day at the Amusment park. One had shorter hair , Orange and black striped, and wore black yoga capris with a tight orange t shirt , and sneakers. The other had long blonde, almost white hair and was dressed in jeans, boot, and a baby blue tank top. her hair was up in a ponytail and she wore glasses that covered her eyes. A strange aura seemed to eminate from behind them, if one stared too long.
They were being kind of loud , but playfully , and were joking with a few of the officers who were there as well. The police were smiling and playing along, charmed that the attractive young women were paying attention to them, even admiring them for thier work, in a playful, flattering way.
"so this is the new city' Lilly, the one wearing black and orange' said to her friend.
"yeah, good to finally feel like we have a home again right? " Syl said back to her friend.
"Bye now, you all be safe out there ok? " lilly said as the police were leaving the shop. They waved and smiled, and went about thier business.
"im just glad that thing in Egypt is over, for now" Syl spoke up. "what a horrible situation that was."
"yes , i agree, but we're closer to finding the orb" ....lilly said before she took a bite of the slice on her plate.
Syl got up and walked to the counter, "can we have two more chocolate milkshakes?" she asked politley...
Famous Ray's seemed larger than Ray's Pizza D'Oro had been ninety-eight years earlier. Or perhaps it was just Rhythiel misremembering. As she followed Shepherd in her hooves clicked on the flooring, and she regretted not being able to shift into a form that could wear shoes. Hopefully the management wouldn't make an issue of it. The police that were leaving looked at her, it seemed to be a mixture of personal interest, professional caution, and perhaps a bit of sympathy when their eyes came across one of the open but not bleeding wounds.
She saw that only one table was occupied, and pointed towards another further in. "Perhaps that table?"

Finn entered as well dressed in his grey outfit he shrugged "I'm not picky thought I would like an Amerikat cola." He headed for the table pointed to nodding to the two women at the occupied table as he passed.

"Anything and/or everything," replied Rhythiel. She picked a chair and sat down on it, her wings just clearing the top of the back. She looked behind the counter and noticed The Rules. "Well, that's new."
From somewhere she pulled out a small roll of twenties wrapped around the business card Shepherd had given her. Careful observation might note that the most recent was dated 1983. She counted them, left one out, then put the rest back... wherever it was she got them, presumably.

Shepherd waited at the counter for someone to come and take his order as he saw Rhythiel pull that money out of no where. He then looked at he and smiled.

"Well if you insist. I've got to make three hundred eighty dollars last until I can get a paycheck, so I'm not likely to say no." Rhythiel looked at the 1982 bill. "They still accept these, right? They haven't done a currency recall or anything like that in the last thirty years?" Such things hadn't been a problem before, but the only reason she had this stash now was because her mother hadn't thought to take it back while she was in the cooler. And the only news she'd gotten was complaints from her mother and her allies...

As Shepherd waited he turned to Taurien.
"Taurien, i think Rhythiel and David could use as much help as they can get. You are also a warrior of the light and protecting the mortals from these infernal creatures is our duty. I'm sure David would be safer with the three of us watching over him."

Taurien nodded. "Though this David has shown foolishness by apprenticing himself to Collins and then attempting to summon a demon, he does not seem to have been complicit in any of Collins other machinations. Therefore, he still falls under my mandate of protection and I will assist you. However, I believe that the best way to defend yourself or others is to go on the offense. Do not ask me to be idle and wait for the enemy to be at our doorstep, for that is folly and I will refuse."

My tactics in the old days would've involved enthralling anyone impertinent enough to threaten me, but that doesn't seem to me to be the new path I've chosen. Plus I don't think I look quite as good with nine holes scattered across my physical form." Then she smiled as she palmed her twenty and put it somewhere. "On the plus side, I still have access to my storage space. I can still fly and I still have fists and hooves, and my brain still seems to be working well enough. And from the smell, we're going to have some very good pizza soon."

"That I'm sure I can do, especially those of the infernal variety. I'd still need to learn about what current technology can do. I was briefed fairly well on my last mission, so I knew what to expect, but that was 1984. I saw stuff while flying around earlier that makes me feel like I've been dropped into the future. There was an area of about three blocks where every single lamppost had a sheet of paper taped to it, asking if anyone had see a lost cat, with the photograph printed right on it Cute black shorthair called Inky. That would've taken a print shop to do, back then.

Shepherd pulled out his smartphone and showed to Rhythiel.
This is a smartphone as you can see it ha a built in camera, you can download music and many other things.
Shepherd touched the screen as he put on the mp3 player option and played some music.

Rhythiel was impressed by the quality of the music coming from the tiny device. She'd definitely have to see about getting one. "Funny, I could've sworn they had the thinking machines already...Prototype 8-something? But that's rather limited in use. Make something that can think for itself, and it will. Then what if it wants to find a different job?" She was silent a moment as she thought of the parallels to her own situation...

Lilly was kind of paying attention, to the conversation at the other table. "hmm she said softly, allies maybe." ......
"most definately" Syl replied picking a peice of pepperoni off one of the slices left on the pizza."you know i can hear everything they're saying."
"yes i do, but, just because you can, doesnt mean you should" Lilly joked in a stern motherly tone.
"now you sound like rox ....."
They both had a very loud laugh . "iv'e got an idea...." Lilly got up and went to to the counter, she asked for thier check, and motioned to the table where the other group was sitting. paying for thier food, she gave the person behind the counter another 20 and said " and make sure they get this as well"
She handed a small card where she had written ' We can help' Then a cel number and signed it 'Tigerlilly 3A'
As she walked past the table of the other she gave a breif smile. "ready syl?" we need to get going...
Shepherd received the pizza along with the card. He went to pay and was told it was taken care of. He gave the pizza to Rhythiel so she could take to the table and followed after the girls. When caught up he gave them a smile.
"Thank you. any help is appreciated. My name is Shepherd."
The Ghostwalker extended his hand t shake theirs as he smiled.

"Well met shepherd, Silvermyre..." Syl shook his hand firmly......It was clear she was not of this world, The faint glow from behind her glasses she wore gave it away easily to Shepherds superior instincts and senses. Lilly then shook his hand, "Tigerlilly here, but just call me lil" she smiled. "we didnt mean to eavsdrop," she said as she glared jokingly at Sil, " but if you catch us up with everything, we know wed be able to offer some type of assistance,".......
"our orginization has alot of resources meant to aid those with 'special' abilities."
Shepherd smiled as he noticed Sil had glowing eyes like him and obliged them with updating. He pulled off his hood revealing his glowing blue eyes, silvery white hair and angelic features.
"I am an immortal holy warrior from another reality. I hunt the creatures of the night. A mage had contacted me about eliminating some creatures in high places with in he government and some corporations. I'm sure you've seen the news the past couple of months about the Goverment officials and Corporate CEOs that have been turning up dead with bullet holes but with no bullets to be found in their bodies and missing."
Shepherd looked at Sil and Lilly.
"The mage came to me after they lost one of their hunters to a demon and told me that the governments and corporations were being infiltrated by demons, vampires, and other such creatures. the ones that disappeared without a trace were vampires that had turned to dust after they were killed. the ones with the wounds were cultists and some werewolves. The cultists had traded their souls for power and in return the demons would inhabit their bodies."
Shepherd face became serious with what he was about to say next.
"They were all involved in human trafficking in order to use the humans they kidnapped as cattle for food and as sacrifices. The mages needed someone not of this world who's abilities far surpassed that of any mortal with mystical abilities that the demons couldn't kill so easily and had no qualms about eliminating them, so they came to me"
Shepherd sighed
"My last hit was an occultist named Collins. After I killed him I discovered 13 teenage girls ranging from ages 13 to 17, all virgins trapped in his basement and freed them. I also found a phone conversation between him and someone named David. I went to hunt down this David. Earlier, I saw a strange dark aura coming from he phoenix statue which was soon followed by an aura similar to my own and one similar to a friend of mine. I went to investigate I met with a Paladin, some sort of Shaman, and a Demoness who claimed to be one of the Lilim. they are the ones accompanying me now. Rhythiel, The demoness said that she was summoned by this David who feared for his life trying to summon another demon. As I heard her story I realized it was the same person I was looking for."
Shepherd then smiled again.
"She explained David's story to me and I realized he was just an ignorant kid who got involved with the wrong people. I offered to help protect him since due to his involvement, the other cultists as well as demons would be searching for him. "

"OK, it seems the pizza's on the ladies who just left." Rhythiel served up a slice for everyone then sat down and started eating. She was clearly enjoying it.

"I'm Kheldian..." Syl said removing her glasses, the solid white orbs seemed almost angelic. "some of us found a home here on this planet", She was happy to be in the presence of an open minded and otherworldy , albeit more devine than alien, figure. "i have three forms , but this one suits humans, or the like, the most"

"Our orginization has alot of assitance to offer those with such noble attributes" she paused..."what is it youd need if assitance is warrented?"
lilly couldn't contain the smile as Syl was starting to sound more like a professor than the young woman she looked like.
"Well to be honest, we could probabvly help each other here " Lilly chimed in....you hunt things, we could always use hunters ', she smiled wryly, "plus were always looking for information on other venues and such." she thought, "the fact that those things we read about were done by a noble being with good cause, answeres alot of questions we may have had on those particular matters. "
Syl continued.."So, what is it you're up to now? and again how may we assist?'
Shepherd smiled.
"A kheldian? I have met others like you. in the last realm I protected. well since you offered to help we can use more help watching over this David kid in case anyone comes after him. Currently it's just me and my companions."

Shepherd chuckled.
"We are protecting him so that no harm comes to him."

"if so, how may we be of service?"
Shepherd nodded.
"Those that he had ties with may come back to eliminate him, since he knows too much. I will be keeping him in my base for protection. He needs to be kept safe. I in return will offer you my services as a hunter, but keep in mind I only deal with creatures of the supernatural variety."
The Ghostwalker then handed them a card with the address to his base.
"I gotta get back to my friends, I don't want to keep them waiting too long."

As he was eating, Taurien looked up suddenly, his eyes glowing. He looked off over his right shoulder, as if he was staring right through the wall.
"Please excuse my abrupt departure, but I am needed elsewhere." he apologized to the others at the table. As he stood, he took a small bag from his pocket and emptied it onto the table in front of Rhythiel. Out of it tumbled three small scrolls tied with thread of the purest white. "When you have need of me, burn one of these. I will come as soon as I am able. For now, fare well until we see each other again."
As he walked towards the door, he adjusted his belt again and his appearance rippled back to his combat armor and swords. He pulled his hood up and vanished into a portal as soon as he was out the door.

Rhythiel called out "Thanks!" as Taurien headed out the door, and put the scrolls into her storage space.

After the remaining slices were packed away. Shepherd was ready to leave.

"Call out if you lose sight of me." Carrying the pizza out of Ray's, Rhythiel stretched her wings and flew southeast. Was she moving slowly to allow Shepherd to keep up, or because the holes in her wings kept her speed down?

Shepherd followed Rhythiel as she flew in the night sky. He had always admired creatures that could fly. He always found them so graceful.

Lilly's phone buzzed.."Heya Roxi, how's things?.....really? ok ....Glad to hear he'll be ok. Yeah,.....Just meeting new friends......On our way."
Syl listened to both ends of the conversation.."Never ends does it" she spoke bluntly..."ready to go?" With that , there was a bright flash of white light and the two were gone...
Marcus' phone buzzed. "Yeah?" He said. "Ok, I'll write it down and we'll look it up later, ok?" He quickly opened a new word file and typed quite quickly before saving. "Was that all? Ok, you better get back then, you've been gone for a while and a few others have shown up. See ya."
Writer catwoman at play...
The familiar ring of the entrance bell calls out as a well dressed man in an all black suit, dark grey shirt & black tie walks in the front door. If one looks at his clothing and even his shoes closely- it seems there is a light metallic pattern to the whole ensemble. Despite appearing slightly African-American- something about him seems to speak of a more worldly & diverse origin. He has a well maintained beard, and smells slightly of clovers, ozone & an odd hint of metalwork.
As he strides towards the counter anyone can see he's never been here before- but carries himself regally despite the unfamiliar environment.
He steps up to counter and looks around quizzically. He notices a slightly portly man speaking with some kids at a booth in the corner. Instead of dinging the bell, or causing attention to himself he waits ever so patiently for Ray to finish speaking to the other patrons. As he stands there his eyes flutter around the room- but he seems distracted, his eyes glare out almost as if they're detached- like he's watching television feed or reading a book no one else can see.
