Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Obviously, this can not be for launch, because this will require a complete set of animations.
BUT it would be cool. This...or something like it would be great. It was villain only in COH, but it would really freak out real life villains if a hero had a set of these...

sign up if you would like the devs to explore an idea like this.
Heck, I would even like a single mechanical scorpion tail.

I would think that in terms

I would think that in terms of "implementation difficulty" having a set of back-mounted claws/guns shouldn't be that much more difficult than animated wings or tails. There might be a question of needing more "animation bones" to make it work but in terms of complexity I doubt it would be prohibitively impossible.

Obviously as you point out something like this probably wouldn't be available for launch because it would take time/effort to create -regardless- of how hard it would be to actually produce. But I'd imagine something like this would make perfect fodder for things to buy in the in-game store after some future updates add them to the game.

This is something I really

This is something I really wanted for a hero in CoH. I had ideas for a “reformed Arachnos” hero that never came to fruition. And I always felt like this type of thing should be in the game for all alignments.

I would like to add that on top of the “spidery” type of limbs I would LOVE to at some point see variety in the limbs. For instance, what you show in the OP is somebody with more “thick” spider limbs. But I would love to see thin, spindly limbs too. Additionally I would love to see limbs like Doctor Octopus’ be implemented.

Again this is all understanding we’re talking “someday”.

If you consent to arms that

If you consent to arms that stay rigid (i.e.: not reacting dynamically to in-game physics), and that have an established animation to them for activities like running and attacks, then I don't see why contraptions like this wouldn't be considered just another prop. That's all they were in CoX for the Arachnos spiders:

[hr]I like to take your ideas and supersize them. This isn't criticism, it is flattery. I come with nothing but good will and a spirit of team-building. If you take what I write any other way, that is probably just because I wasn't very clear.

Always drove me nuts that Stark skimped out and only gave that suit 3 mechanical arms and not 4.

I don't like the idea of

I don't like the idea of these back pieces being cash shop only and should be held at the same level as other costume pieces. Like the devs had said that familiars aren't going to be at launch but are going to be the game, and this back stuff here would probably be just as doable, so really what I would rather happen is that you can get these for free at 5 basic levels, tech, magic, biological, steampunk and dieselpunk, and have some really fancy back arms in the cash shop.

I'm all for the cash shop.
This game will not be pay to win, it will be pay for luxuries. costume are luxuries you can buy.
MWM needs to make money with this game...or else it goes under.

Well there should be enough already in the cash shop to still make it viable. I'm not saying that we make all back arms non cash shop, but there should still be some very basic back arms for everyone when they do come and then have a lot of different variations on the cash shop.

I wondered why it was 3 myself. Was it a matter of aesthetics?
