Enemy placement

For CoH, I created an enemy group that was designed for flight. I always hated AE didn't allow for enemy placement. I wanted my villains on the rooftops through the zone...even though CoH didn't allow for flying combat....I still wanted the battles to happen on the rooftops.

So that would be my suggestion.

(Admit it, when you were on those huge buildings you wished there was somebody up there to fight, didn't you?)

Where was that? The only

Where was that? The only time I ever fought anybody on a rooftop was in Faultline. I left my toon on the roof top to go to the kitchen and an Arachnos robot killed me by the time I came back.

I remember baddies in

I remember baddies in Kingsrow on rooftops. Circle of Thorns would appear there, at night when they came out to play.

Unless you were looking for

Unless you were looking for them for a mission. Then suddenly those bleeping bleepers were bleeping invisible or on holiday in the Bahamas.*

The ability to tell the mission builder to place at least some enemies on buildings, or have them hovering, patrolling, or whatever, would be neat.

[br]
* Circle of Thorns in bermuda shorts should be a thing, perhaps as a joke promotional poster for City of Titans. ("I don't always MMO, but when I do it's City of Titans.")

I remember at least one

I remember at least one mission where you had to defeat x Clockwork, and the best place to find them was on the rooftops of SW Steen Canyon.

Though after I defeated the first batch, the rest did seem to call up the same travel agent Darth Fez's Circle of Thorns guys used. Not sure Clockwork would look as good in Bermuda shorts, though.

Spurn all ye kindle.

Fighting on rooftops? Did

Fighting on rooftops? Did that.
Doing it in Dark Astoria when it was foggy? You betcha.
One of the tall skyscrapers that you could fly into unexpectedly? How did you know?
Used knockback to boot the opposition off the roof? Watch out for that first step ...
The joy of watching non-fliers fall to their doom below somewhere in the mists beyond your sight? Priceless.

Almost as much fun as watching a Ninja SAM take out a 5th Column flying robot.
