If it was on TV or a movie it would have had most of the footage taking place within the bridge; people yelling, furiously poking screens, grabbing consoles and swaying back and forth, etc. Making it pure action is so much better. That’s how ship combat is actually enjoyable in Star Trek Online, because it’s closer to this video than any of the series.

Meh. The ships maneuver much too fast here.

I still say that the apex of Trek space combat is limited to the Klingon attack on V'Ger, and Enterprise v Reliant in the Mutara Nebula. The ships feel BIG and complex.
