Being able to see the emotes in the costume creator would also let people easily try before they buy with emotes from the store.

That strikes me as too involved for a regular emote.

I did ponder stages on which particular emotes could be executed or, which may be more interesting in general, where emotes have different effects. For example, a particular dance emote would normally have the character dance but, on such a stage, it would automatically (or with the appropriate confirmation) place the person in sync with someone else using that same emote. This could result in anything from couples dancing or line dances to the more involved court dances.

And I'm all for interactive e-motes, too. Handshakes, high-fives, etc. as long as they are of the "opt-in" variety and not the "dance-monkey-dance" variety. In fact, to go along with the courtly bow, a formal kiss of the hand might be nice. Although the proper etiquette of that might prove a bit too challenging for a modern crowd.

That be awesome. I'd definitely like the emotes to cause a reaction. Especially if you're in a mission that could progress differently. "You won't join us, huh? So you think you can take the lot of us, 5 OClock Shadow?!" /disinterestedboredshrug /flipoff "Why you!". Or something trivial like /dance would cause pedestrians to join in or shake their heads at your horrible moves.

Also, /axeguitar, for air guitar on your axe. Even though Miss Badaxe predates air guitar by a couple decades, if I bring her over from CO, it'll be nice to know she can do it if she wants to. ^_^
