Interesting for use as a contact. I like him, though I'm in the camp that his style is a bit outdated.
I guess I'm just more used to modern hero designs. but, then, that fits the point in time where he was a working hero, doesn't it? :P
An infinite number of tries doesn't mean that any one of those tries will succeed. I could flip an infinite number of pennies an infinite number of times and, barring genuine randomness, they will never come up "Waffles".

I'm sure that I'm not the only one who's getting the sense that the Orbit Room is meant to have a similar function to another hangout that was run by a certain DJ Zero.
I bet the view from the Orbit Room will be awesome!

While I wouldn't want the overall tone of City of Titans to be tongue-in-cheek the way it is in Champions Online, a little camp is part of comics and I thought this was well done and enjoyed it!

It is restrained, tasteful camp, intended to inject a certain homage to an earlier era without taking the game overall in the wrong direction, and to inject a bit of old fashioned playfulness in the same way.

Will Captain Orbit's "space energy" be an available power design aesthetic/theme? Will there be a reputation we can work on (or lose) with iconic NPCs like Captain Orbit?

I really like the idea of a gathering place being in and overlooking Titan City.
According to the [url=https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/missingworldsmedia/the-phoenix-project-city-of-titans]half-megabuck stretch goal[/url], we will have "Auras no true comic book game could be without - Kirby Krackle! in all its infinite glory." Since they referred to this after mentioning auras, I don't think they mean the band. Though that would be cool, too... While not a programmer, I would think weaponizing the Krackle would be relatively simple.

Captain Orbit rocks. He is totally going to be Empyrean's mentor. Somewhat similar origins.
Empyrean was a former-fighter-pilot-turned-astronaut who got his solar powers from an "incident" (details vary depending on the "universe" he's conceptualized in) during NASA's first manned Solar mission. Plus a later continuum-appropriate solar magic upgrade at some point. He's a "solar-system" (but not Galactic or Cosmic) level hero.
And he will be a Bastion (come on post-launch Specifications!!!)

Nice. I like that CoT is acknowledging the "past eras" of comic books in-universe. The costume is [I]definitely[/I] Silver-Age. Can't wait to see what the view will be like in the bar!

I *love* Captain Orbit. Much respect for the retro scifi hero and his super cool sidekick. I am so very very in the "traditional heroes looking to him as an example" camp. :)
