Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

That looks like a different launcher to the one shown here... Is it a better, more complete launcher?

The Napkin Drawing of Titan City looks the same, just shrunk to the corner with slightly different input/output boxen and buttons.

Meh. Bah!

Are you trying to imply that

Are you trying to imply that if someone walks up to you they will get to take the game/AB/whatever_you_call_it for a spin?
Or that you are walking around with a laptop that can be stolen?

Edit: nevermind, just saw https://cityoftitans.com/forum/meet-cabbit-nycc-play-avatar-builder

Well this is just a wild

Well this is just a wild guess (because I'm a lousy psychic), but I predict we have reach a milestone, MWM now has a working avatar clone machine, and we can get inside and live as heroes in Titan city. Either that or someone has necroed the "Physics" thread again.

Physics can be applied to so

Physics can be applied to so many lovely bodyparts. I worry about the Physics of the 'Hero Landing'. How does that compare to other landings? Is the 'Concrete Bellyflop' any better?

Be Well!

The thing with the "Hero Landing" is that, done properly at just the right time, the forward leg and the arms act as shock absorbers, so that the hero's muscles do work to convert the kinetic energy of their falling body directly to heat. There are three things wrong with it: First, that it requires super strength, else the impact does damage to the aforementioned arms and forward leg. Second, that landing on both legs and bending the knees to absorb the shock (think of a standing high jump in reverse) usually works better, unless the hero's arms are much closer to the strength of the legs than is normal in most bipeds (brachiators, for example). And third, precise timing is required to gain any benefit.

By contrast, the Concrete Bellyflop is much more forgiving of errors in timing. But the CB does take measurably longer to stand up from.

Sounds like Spider-Man is perfectly suited for superhero landings, then.

In astrophysics, I believe that's called 'lithobraking'.

Also in some SF I've read; they likely got it from the astrophysicists. ^_^

No, I think you got it right. Or at least the gist of it.
The Tick actually had a good grasp on Reality, it was just... eccentric,
