As I said after a previous update, I'm looking forward to seeing these characters and organizations in-game, and participating in the story. This "finale" only made that wish stronger.

Well well, it looks like we have a hero and villain contact for the game! And a new supervillain, to boot- Antithesis! I can't wait to meet these characters in-game! :D

Man. Like others have said, rich lore and great storytelling like this just makes me want to get in there and weave my stories in.
Combine that with what is shaping up to be fun game mechanics and a great look, and you got yourself a bottle of lightning.
FIGHT EVIL! (or go cause trouble so the Heroes have something to do.)
Really exciting to see the lore development, and, echoing other replies, confirmation of both Hero and Villain starting contacts.
I also appreciate that this series makes the starting contacts feel "real". Unlike the archetype-assigned contacts when starting out in AP, these two actually have histories and personalities, not to mention a connection. Hopefully this also means we will see some stories in-game that feature them. And more backstories for other contacts and signature heroes while we wait!
