Saw it first on YouTube before coming here. Gotta say that I can't wait! It took a year but to finally hear that the AB is closer to Alpha-ready status is certainly promising! Hopefully we will see it launch sometime before or by the end of the year.

Holy cow, that looks really cool! It's great to see how the technical jargon gets put into actual, realizable footage to make more sense. Some of those costumes look really great as well, so I can't wait to see the whole range of things! Thanks for sharing.

Yes. There's a whole host of technical reasons for that, but it also makes it easier for us to design game maps if we're working from an 'average' human height range.

This whole thing is very good

This whole thing is very good news for me, given my primary character is a ten foot tall behemoth of a woman. Very much looking forward to seeing how this develops further!

An infinite number of tries doesn't mean that any one of those tries will succeed. I could flip an infinite number of pennies an infinite number of times and, barring genuine randomness, they will never come up "Waffles".

Great news on getting this

Great news on getting this working so well!

Also liked the preview of that selection of costumes. It's nice to see stuff that's more in the 'normal' range yet still quite varied. I do feel sorry for those characters standing close to the tech-wing guys near the end of the video. I hope their trips to the hospital didn't take too long. :-)

I figure we can expect to see the Emaciated Giant as a GM someday...

No, I saw that. I'm not bothered by that part.

I'm actually going on about the fact that large 8-ish foot monsters aren't going to be any more resource intensive to load than a standard 6 foot guy. In a lot of games, "bigger" means "more intensive" and that doesn't appear to be the case here.

I really like the details

I really like the details found on some of the costumes displayed; it's good to see quality even in the early alpha stages of the game! The tech pieces looked especially nice, including the set of wings behind one of the costume models. We all eagerly await the next update as MWM edges closer and closer to releasing the Avatar Builder!

You said that the Dresser "cost" 6 Go system RAM and 4 video RAM in its 1st version. And, 20 Mo system RAM in its third version but what about the video RAM used for this 3rd version ? :) do you have an information on that ?

I think it's pretty minimal, but I'd imagine at most similar to system RAM. I'll check :)
