Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.

I always loved following the Ghost Ship in Independence Port, will this be a similar type of event?

Not bad. Ghost trains make for rich story material. It could use a harmonica player who may or may not be the devil in disguise. (Harmonicas are great for spooky train sounds.)
It reminds me a bit of "The Little Black Train", a classic Manly Wade Wellman short story--its backstory was about a love triangle among a rail owner, his wife, and one of the engineers. It even features a line about the train rolling in, repeated several times in a song. (The train didn't actually wreck, however; the engineer killed the owner and was sent to the electric chair, and the wife--who allegedly set the whole thing up--sold off the line and had the tracks taken up...but the train kept rolling in, just for her.)

I'm definitely hoping this comes to be CoT's answer to the Ghost Ship. And I do hope it's a zone event rather than a mission, arc, or trial. It's got halloween painted all over it!
But halloween is but once a year. Maybe a convoluted way to summon the train like "kill x Skuls from in-game 6pm to in-game 10pm" or "complete [medium-difficulty task force] at nighttime" or something along those lines. I think there should be a balance between letting it be so common it loses its touch, and so rare it feels like an easter egg.
On that note, I almost think there shouldn't be more reward than a [badge] for this, otherwise it's prone to harvest and again, loses its touch.
So much potential!

I love spooky trains. I've heard many real-life ghost tales related to trains. Many men died building and operating the railroads.
My favorite eerie train is the one in Miyazaki's Spirited Away: faceless souls being carried from and to unknown places. Almost like an industrial-age Charon's ferry.

Not to mention there game event details in this lore. The Ghost Train will be a zone event (maybe more active during the halloween season) that runs a path across the zone. Sometimes it be on the ground level other times in the air. There even mention the train stops from time to time to drop of spirit passengers that would roam the zone. Yeah it's lore but Lore about an event we will take part in!

To be fair, I get the same reaction when they talk about game mechanics. When they explain it, my mind instantly goes into just tell me:
Me:Can I smash things?
In my mind a dev goes: yes
Me: Can I smash stuff over someone's head that is not part of the pavement?
Dev: Um..yeah
Me: When I slot, will it be easy for kid to understand?
Dev: Oh yeah. You can...
Me: ehh..No details. It will just make me think of flow charts.
You get the idea. When they say keep it simple stupid. I am the stupid one needs it simple.

I have to admit I *love* seeing people speedrun FF6. And suplexing the train is an excellent thing. Even better is when you accidentally suplex yourself...
Love the story line, it would be a great instance that you can board and become a ghost battling your way to either crash with the train derailment or "survive" ? The spirits want to keep you there to suffer the same fate.
It would be nice to see it appear in the town periodically as an NPC and not part of the instance as well.
So the Seats inside the train become translucent? and the train walls just a bit wider... optical illusion as soon as you enter a train car? ;)
