I would really like to see a "lost Worlds" type zone where there are realistic looking dinosaurs all to scale. This could also include a watery section with megalodons, plesiosaurs, and giant turtles.
Notice that I'm not talking about a generic "Monster Island" full of fantastic creatures. That would be cool too, but the lost worlds place should have mostly actual dinosaurs.
I realize it would also need something else to give us a reason to go there, something like aliens, Sleestack, or cave men and it would be full of anachronisms like having Tyrannosaurus Rex hanging out with Stegosaurus, but I wouldn't care it would be cool.
You could make it part of a series of time travel missions. Maybe we get stranded in the past with some scientist and have to gather minerals he can use to repair and power his malfunctioning return pad.

+1 to the general idea. I prefer the "abandoned Precursors' wildlife/biodiversity preserve", but that's negotiable. ^_^
