In CoX, if you were respeccing or doing costume alterations, or looking at your own info screen (the one where you could edit your battlecry and origin story, etc) you lost the regular HUD and couldn't see chat channels, trays, etc. I would like to be able to, at the very least, still chat while costuming and respeccing. I know a lot of this may be available offline anyway, but I would prefer a respec/costume editor that still allows me to tab back and forth to the regular game or at the very least be able to see chat channels.
Just a thought.

I thought you could, but regardless I agree.
Seems like they could just have every sub-feature (like the costume creator or the respec screen) be "windowed" within the main GUI. This way there would never be a time where you couldn't see/access anything like a chat window on the side.

Yes, please.
It was an annoyance that we had to choose between respeccing or working on costumes and chatting. I'm all for being able to minimize the chat window so that it isn't in the way ("I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille."), so long as it is and remains accessible.

Agreed with Lothic. Having a costume editor and or respec screen that is in its own window would be better (option to maximize/minimize, etc)

Yeah, would be nice not to have to send friends the "respeccing" AFK warning.
Spurn all ye kindle.
I remember in the base editor you could type in /c to toggle the chat window, but yeah not so much at the tailor.
Totally agree with this. The more you can prevent stuff from blocking out the *entire* screen, the better.
