Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Design Suggestions

I have a few core suggestions.

Armor & Equipment
The CoH Enhancement system was unique in that it let players design their own skins, and then the enhancement system filled in their powers invisibly. This allowed players to customize their avatars to their own choosing, without being forced to use or wear items they did not want or like.

I propose that you implement a crafting system, where players can create items for other players. These items would be skins, as was done previously. You could make schematics for them drop from bosses and add them as rewards for the various achievements, etc.

Ranged Tanking
DCUO showed us that tanking could be done from melee or ranged.

Science Fiction
One of the great things about the CoH franchise was that it's roots were in modern times. It was not a rehash of so many fantasy games that many people have played. It was almost like the Anti-WoW, though I don't know that that was ever something that was done intentionally.

Group Friendly
Another area where CoH was superior to many games. They encouraged you to group. Social interaction!

Player Housing and Guild Halls
Instancing allowed for adding content without having to redesign maps. Designing maps with player housing and guild halls in mind would be a big step towards encouraging a player community and creating player driven content and interaction. We've seen that a strong community will support a game.
